23rd Critics' Choice Awards Wrap-up

Last night(January 11th) the 23rd Annual Critics' Choice Awards took place at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Olivia Munn who hosted the show, wore a PRADA red halter, column dress with an embellished neckline. The detailed neckline is what keeps this dress somewhat interesting. NIWAKA jewelry, LOUBOUTIN heels and wavy tresses finished up her look.

Mary J. Blige who is celebrating her b-day, wore a custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD iridescent strapless gown which featured the designer's signature bustier, draped bodice and train detail. I like the dress but not the fit of the bodice.

Gal Gadot also wore PRADA. Her silver metallic pleated halter dress featured a plunging neckline, a crisscross strap, cutout back and a black embellished waist. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a pink lip color finished up her look.

Alison Brie wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI long sleeve cream, draped Grecian inspired dress with cold-shoulders. I like the dress but the color is the issue here.

Greta Gerwig looked lovely in a FENDI PRE-FALL 2018 white sleeveless, heart embellished gown with pleated skirt. Simple but yet regal. One of her best looks.

Reese Witherspoon stuck to her signature silhouette wearing a black & white polka dot embellished dress but PRADA. Side parted waves, a pink lip and ROGER VIVIER sandals finished up her look.

Alexis Bledel wore a RASARIO two-tone ankle length dress with a tie waist. The dress is originally done in a floor length version and I think she should have stuck with that. This length is working on her. A YILANA YEPEZ clutch, FOREVERMARK jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER embellished pumps finished up her look.

Allison Williams wore a sleeveless brown, white & light blue DOLCE & GABBANA lace embroidered, silk-chiffon sheer gown. I was shocked to learn that this is Dolce & Gabbana as it is something different from the duo, thankfully.

Emilia Clarke also turned to DOLCE & GABBANA wearing a long sleeve black & silver dot embellished, calf length dress. Minimal make-up, a short layered cut and silver metallic sandals finished up her look.

Kaley Cuoco wore a J. MENDEL SPRING 2018 see-through pink sequin & tulle gown with a v-neckline and flutter sleeves. Her look was accessorized with STEPHEN WEBSTER jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN sandals.

Leslie Mann also wore a dress from J. MENDEL. Her PRE-FALL 2018 long sleeve burgundy & orange pleated stripe gown featured a key-hole bodice. A burgundy velvet clutch, statement earrings and straight tresses finished up her great look.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead opted for DELPOZO SPRING 2018 just like Kiernan Shipka. Her color-block one-shoulder tulle gown featured a circle ruffle appliqué on the shoulder. My only quibble is that she should have gone with a sleek bun.

Elisabeth Moss wore a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2018 sheer black dotted, embellished dress which featured an asymmetrical key-hole detail and nude underlining for coverage. The dress works for Elisabeth but it looks a bit too tight.

Allison Janney was a stand out once again wearing a MICHAEL CINCO long sleeve cobalt blue beaded floor length layered dress. I wish she wore matching lining but she does look lovely.

Yvonne Strahovski wore a RONALD VAN DER KEMP FALL 2016 COUTURE red & blue long sleeve polka dot mini dress. This dress was shown with a belt in the look book and it is definitely missed. Overall, the styling fell flat on Yvonne.
