'Wine Country' NY World Premiere

Yesterday evening(May 8th) the 'Wine Country' world premiere took place at the Paris Theatre in New York City.

Tina Fey chose the ERDEM 'Irina' fitzroy ruffle rose floral, peplum dress which was belted at the waist. White pumps would have been an ideal choice over the black. Also I wish her hair was straight, and pulled back behind the ear.

Amy Poehler almost always rocks power suit and it really works for her. This navy printed with red pipping GUCCI suit was styled with a the L'AGENCE 'Lucien' navy button shirt and red suede pumps.

The 'Veep' Final Season 7 premiere took place this evening(March 26th) at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

Anna Chlumsky & Shannon Purser wore custom SACHIN + BABI dress this evening(September 17th) at the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Anna Chlumsky wore a sleeveless silver sequin floor length gown with v-neckline and a ruffle train detail. I like the idea of this gown but as you know sequin tends to photograph badly. In some images it made her look pregnant from the front. I don't hate it but I don't love it either.

Shannon Purser however looked divine in her emerald embellished ruffle, pleated gown despite those unfortunate creases and the shape of the skirt which is not the best. With her beautiful SAWROVSKI jewelry to hair & make-up, this is still a win for me.

Naomie Harris wore a black strapless STELLA MCCARTNEY layered dress with flap pockets and a sheer organza floor length skirt. This reminds me of that Dior piece that Emma Stone wore to the SAG awards in 2015. A CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA clutch, NEIL RODGERS sandals, pulled back tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look.

Kylie Bunbury for the hit series 'Pitch', looked lovely in a green KAYAT SPRING 2016 draped chiffon gown with double straps and a high split. Her dress was shown in the look book with a matching sheer chiffon cape which she opted not to wear & did not need.

Evan Rachel Wood who walked away a winner, loves her suits so it is no surprise seeing her rocking this ALTUZARRA PRE-FALL 2017 black belted two-piece suit. LOUBOUTIN black satin pumps, minimal make-up and a short side parted cut finished up her look.

Annalise Basso looked great in this ANTONIO GRIMALDI COUTURE indigo blue silk crepe gown with inlaid embroidery detail which she accessorized with an EDIE PARKER clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. Love her red hair with this dress but I wish it was off-the-shoulders.

Tracee Ellis Ross who was a nominee, wore a custom RALPH LAUREN cream-colored one-shoulder dress which featured a hand-pleated & hand-draped silk chiffon overlay and silk charmeuse inlays. The cut-out waist added a flirty appeal to her all white look. I just wish she wore strappy sandals over her OLGANA PARIS white crossover strap pumps. DE GRISOGONO earrings, minimal make-up and a sleek, pulled back up-do finished up her look.

Angela Bassett was on hand to support hubby Courtney B. Vance who walked away a winner. The actress shined in her CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FALL 2016 yellow v-neck dress with wide, split long sleeves. Angela had the v-neckline shorten which worked for her. The color looks beautiful on her.

Viola Davis walked away a winner & she looked lovely in a strapless ZAC POSEN gown. My only disappointment was the annoying creases but I thought everything else worked including her make-up.

Alicia Vikander also waked away a winner, shimmering in a long sleeve LOUIS VUITTON sequin patchwork dress. I think I like this look more than her Globes look. It isn't a wow moment but she looked simply beautiful.

Priyanka Chopra wore a MONIQUE LHUILLER strapless pink & white floral embroidered tulle dress. The actress complimented her look with a fuchsia lip and a side swept up-do.
