22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards Wrap-up

Last night(December 11th) the 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Naomie Harris wore a black strapless STELLA MCCARTNEY layered dress with flap pockets and a sheer organza floor length skirt. This reminds me of that Dior piece that Emma Stone wore to the SAG awards in 2015. A CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA clutch, NEIL RODGERS sandals, pulled back tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look.

Kylie Bunbury for the hit series 'Pitch', looked lovely in a green KAYAT SPRING 2016 draped chiffon gown with double straps and a high split. Her dress was shown in the look book with a matching sheer chiffon cape which she opted not to wear & did not need.

Evan Rachel Wood who walked away a winner, loves her suits so it is no surprise seeing her rocking this ALTUZARRA PRE-FALL 2017 black belted two-piece suit. LOUBOUTIN black satin pumps, minimal make-up and a short side parted cut finished up her look.

Bryce Dallas Howard didn't turn for a big designer, instead she opted for a mustard TOPSHOP layered chiffon gown with a deep v-neckline and black trimming. I am not sold on the material of this dress and a colored lip wouldn't have hurt but she looks nice. Love her ponytail though.

Nia Long was on hand as a presenter wearing a black dress which featured a black & white beaded bodice and a ruffled high low hem skirt. Her look doesn't excite but for 46, she looks pretty.

Mandy Moore wore the navy SOLACE LONDON 'Dalia' maxi dress with a deep v-neckline and cut-out sides. The neckline is a bit wide but I do like the dress in general.

Portia Doubleday sparkled in a JENNY PACKHAM PRE-FALL 2016 long sleeve black & silver sequin gown. Keeping the styling simple, she finished up with pulled back tresses and light make-up.

Rachel Bloom worked an on trend black ruffle sequin, cold-shoulder dress courtesy of CHRISTIAN SIRIANO. Black patent sandals and a side parted ponytail finished up her look.

Lisa Bonet wore a draped one sleeve black & white zebra print dress which she accessorized with statement bracelets, a black sequin clutch and black sandals.

Leslie Mann wore a vibrant orange GRETA CONSTANTINE sleeveless ruffled floor length gown styled with JIMMY CHOO heels. Leslie loves her colored lips so it is no surprise to see her rocking her go to pink lip.

Bella Thorne ditched her panties for a sheer STEVEN KHALIL long sleeve black & silver sequin gown with a cut-out back. Bella has been doing this most lately so this is no surprise.

Constance Zimmer wore a black sleeveless JOHN PAUL ATAKER cut-out gown which she accessorized with a MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2015 silver Swarovski crystal & tassel box clutch and NIGAAM & ANITA KO jewelry.

Anna Chlumsky wore a HALSTON HERITAGE SPRING 2017 red silk slip dress with a v-neckline, a tie waist and a split detail. I don't think this dress is the most flattering on her and the creases doesn't help.

Carly Chaikin ditched wearing a dress as well for a custom THAKOON ivory crepe pleated chiffon top and black slim tuxedo pants. I think this is a cute alternative for a dress. However I don't like her make-up. A box clutch, TASAKI jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals finished up her look.

Linda Cardellini wore a PAOLO SEBASTIAN FALL 2015 COUTURE long sleeve ivory beaded floral tulle cocktail dress with a black contrasting velvet tie waist. SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals, JOAN HORNIG jewelry and a LILIAN SHALOM purple clutch. I would probably swap out the pumps for sandals and also her side swept curls for a sleeker, elegant style. However this dress is on the tween side.

Amanda Peet showed support for friend Sarah Paulson wearing a sleeveless pink, white & black floral dress styled with a silver mirrored box clutch and black pumps.

Ariel Winter wore a UEL CAMILO black & silver embellished tulle gown with cut-out sides and a sheer illusion back panel. Her hairstyle is cute but I don't think it compliments the gown.

Julie Bowen wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2017 white silk seersucker organza high neck gown with dark indigo cascading floral embroidery. For balance Julie belted her which I think worked. However a sleeker hairstyle and colored lip could have enhance her look.

  1. Because I said soMonday, December 12, 2016

Evan Rachel Wood looks fantastic in that suit.
Brice Dallas' dress is a Prada knock off. From afar it looks good. She deserves more and better than that.
Lisa Bonet looked terrific. Love her look.

  3. Naomie Harris's look also instantly reminded me of Emma's, the dress works on Naomie's enviable toned figure incredibly well, the look is clean and sexy. And Evan - a bit business-y and very much in her wheelhouse, but fab. and stylish in the impeccably fitted suit.

My faves from the event wore black - Nicole, Emma Stone, Naomie, Evan, followed by 2 colorful looks - Viola Davis and Heilee Steinfeld.

  4. Oh, No. My comment disappeared again and after it seemingly had been published. Don't really feel like re-typing the whole thing. Naomie Harris and Evan are my faves here.
