Isabelle Huppert in Balenciaga Couture at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival 'All About Corinne' Premiere

Isabelle Huppert hit the red carpet on Monday(September 14th) for the ''All About Corinne'' premiere which was held during the 51st Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada. 

Wearing BALENCIAGA of course, Isabelle took on one of the season's most dramatic trends, the high-low bubble hem skirt and stripped away its sweetness. The volume of a bubble hem can come off overwhelming but balancing the proportions can be easy. 

Her custom FALL 2026 COUTURE piece was shown on the runway as a separate. But, it appears Isabelle's skirt was re-done with a top attached at the waist. However, I would have liked to see the skirt paired back to a fitted top and maybe belted at the waist. 

On the other hand, she totally anchored her look and shifted the mood by throwing on a classic black leather jacket with a draped panel across the chest. The tough texture of the leather took the outfit from strictly feminine to unapologetically edgy, but I still think that a belt was needed for a balanced break. What do you think of Isabelle's look?

On Tuesday(September 8th) Penelope Cruz and more promoted, and attended the 'Bunker' photocall and premiere during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy.

Penelope Cruz arrived on Monday(September 7th) at the Hotel Excelsior pier wearing a FERRAGAMO black draped panel dress. This isn't just another boring black dress because the draped panel and gold hardware gives it some impact. My only quibble is that I would swap out the pumps for strappy sandals.

Nicola Peltz in Balenciaga Couture at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival Kinéo Award

On Saturday(September 5th) Nicola Peltz attended the Kinéo Award during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival at the Sala Grande in Venice, Italy.

Nicola could not be missed on the carpet wearing a BALENCIAGA FALL 2026 COUTURE purple one-shoulder cutout gown. This merges together the best of high-fashion structure with playful, modern details. 

The color is striking and the bubble skirt adds dramatic volume, balanced by the sleek, asymmetrical one-shoulder neckline that also has a draped hooded detail. The strategic waist cutouts showed a flash of skin, which added a break in the bold purple hue. 

The color and the gown itself looked fantastic on the model, but either way, I only prefer the bottom half. Are you loving Nicola's bold look?

Following the opening ceremony, Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the premiere of '15/18: A Place To Heal' during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on Friday(September 4th) in Venice, Italy. 

For this outing, she chose a custom gown by BALENCIAGA. The black one-shoulder was done in a silk-faille fabric which offers a subtle, luxurious matte sheen. In some cases, pieces done in this fabric can be a tough sell and that is the case here. 

Structure wise for me, I wish that the draped panel on the neckline and the skirt had a little more volume. It would have definitely added some drama to her look which was needed. Some sparkly jewelry would have also been impactful. Overall, this didn't excite for me. Did Maggie sell you on her premiere look?

On Monday(May 19th) the premiere of ''Her Private Hell'' was held during the 79th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Charles Melton and Sophie Thatcher wore looks by LOUIS VUITTON. Charles wore a single-breasted suit and the pants needed to be hemmed. Sophie wore a black gown which featured a leather halter top and a sheer skirt with briefs underneath with coverage. I feel like the top and the bottom doesn't work together. Maybe, if the skirt was lined. 

Diego Calva wore a double-breasted suit by PRADA. The addition of the diamond brooch helped with the look of his suit, but his pants needed to be hemmed as well.

Naomi Watts posed in head to toe BALENCIAGA SPRING 2026. Her beauty look was on point and I liked this dress on her despite the color. The colored lip and orange shoes definitely helped. However, I dislike the shape of the pumps.

Although, I am not 100% sold on the design, I think it works much better on the model because of the length. The dress is probably longer on Lily because she is shorter. Also, those pumps weren't a great choice.
