2017 Pride of Britain Awards

Yesterday evening(October 30th) the 2017 Pride of Britain Awards took place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Laura Whitmore showed off her décolletage in a ISABEL SANCHIS SPRING 2018 black off-the-shoulder floor length dress with long, ruffle panel sleeves and contrasting gold pipping of a face. She complimented her look with an up-do with tendrils and a pink lip color. A black clutch finished up her look. 

Amanda Holden stood out in a BASIL SODA FALL 2017 COUTURE gown which featured a beaded purple top with a plunging neckline and a white & purple floral ball gown skirt. Off-the-shoulder straight tresses and statement jewelry finished up her look.

On Sunday(January 29th) Amanda Holden took to her instagram to post an image of her look before heading to the 'Britain's Got Talent 2017 auditions photocall at the London Palladium in London.

For her look, she rocked a BASIL SODA SPRING 2017 ensemble which featured a white embroidered crop top and a champagne floral beaded embroidered pencil skirt.  

Beauty wise, she went with a center part straight bob and a smokey eye offset with a shiny pink lip. I kinda wish the skirt was a bit more fitted but she looked great in this cute ensemble. LOUBOUTIN pumps and NADINE AYSOY jewelry finished up her look.

Chanel Iman attended at the Weinstein Company and Netflix 74th Golden Globes after-party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Showing some skin, she wore a plum BASIL SODA FALL 2016 COUTURE pleated cut-out gown with a gold hardware trimmed bodice and a thigh high split.  

Love the color of this sexy, Grecian inspired dress which Chanel has the body to pull. A side parted pinned ponytail, plum smokey eyes, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and DSQUARED2 sandals completed her look.

Basil Soda RTW Fall/Winter 2012

During Paris Fashion Week BASIL SODA showed their Fall/Winter 2012 collection at the Ritz Hotel. The color tone for the collection started out dark but pops of color like tangerine and royal blue added life along with metallics, white and grey. Dresses had intricate detailing like cut-outs and pleats along with draped and plunging V necks. In some cases, shoulders were padded and structured. Velvet and mesh were used along with chiffon and satin. My favorite piece in the collection was a tangerine cowl neck chiffon gown that will look absoultely gorgeous on Viola Davis on the red carpet. Also I loved the royal blue sheath dress with cut-out & mesh detailing, padded shoulders and a peplum like detail with embellishment on the wiast. Overall the collection looks onward with a futuristic vibe. Detailing was key along with structured elements.

Basil Soda Spring/Summer 2012 Couture

BASIL SODA Spring/Summer 2012 Couture Collection focused on tailored shapes along with intricate detailing like feathers which added a modern edge to the pieces. Neutrals, greys, pale pink, sunflower yellow and cinnamon set the color story with pops of black. The romanticism of the collection offered up a side of delicate fabrics, layers of embroidery, lace and sheer detailing which revealed hints of skin. The refined and clean lines also revealed finely crafted silhouettes. The serene setting on the runway allowed the garments to take center stage and showcase why the Lebanese designer is getting notable attention. Giuliana Rancic of E! recently wore one of his gown on the red carpet at the SAG Awards and she looked gorgeous. I have been a huge fan of Basil Soda so I am hoping to see more of his pieces on the red carpet.
