2026 Met Gala Celebrating 'Costume Art' Wrap-up

Beyonce was one of many who was on theme wearing a custom OLIVIER ROUSTEING skeleton dress that was inspired by a creole woman from New Orleans named Caroline Durieux in a 1944 lithograph called 'The Visitor' or the 'The Night Visitor.' Her look was very much intentional which is something that I love about Bey because she does that a lot. I'm not 100% sold on the gown, but the feathery makes it dramatic and the look overall suits. 

Janelle Monae wore really electrical cables as gown and her custom piece was designed by CHRISTIAN SIRIANO, and accessorized with RAINBOW K jewelry. It might have been tough for her to move, but her look was definitely wearable art, inspired by the ''earth overtaking technology.''

Blake Lively in Carolina Herrera at the Late Night with Seth Meyers Show

Blake Lively was spotted arriving for an appearance on the 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' show on Thursday(May 1st) in New York City to continue promoting 'Another Simple Favor'. 

We all know that Blake styles herself and her style can be a hit or miss. On this occasion, I liked her look, but not her shoe choice. She chose a CAROLINA HERRERA FALL 2025 blue embellished, tweed skirt suit. 

This is giving Chanel, but either way, it's not a bad look. However, I don't think the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN spiked pumps worked with it because it competes with her skirt suit. 

Given that she accessorized with a coordinating embellished bag, she extra details that her pumps brought were not needed. A simple pump would have been ideal. What do you think of Blake's look?

Following the photocall, Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick attended the premiere for ''Another Simple Favor'' which was held at the Ham Yard Hotel on Tuesday(April 15th) evening in London.

Blake Lively wore a DAVID KOMA FALL 2025 black leather, fringe coat and the fit is not working on her. Her beauty look is the only thing that is working here.

Blake Lively & Anna Kendrick at the 'Another Simple Favor' London Photocall

Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick kicked off the promo tour for ''Another Simple Favor'' on Tuesday(April 15th) with a photocall which was held at the Corinthia Hotel in London.

Blake Lively wore a CHANEL FALL 2024 two-tone fuzzy cardigan, a black leather mini skirt and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN boots. I like the pieces, but I don't think they work together. The cardigan probably would have worked with tapered leg pants and sleek pumps. 

Anna Kendrick stood out thanks to her RIXO red ensemble. The gold buttons on the vest offset her vibrant ensemble nicely which was topped off with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN gold pumps.

Following the New York premiere along with Isabela Ferrer, Blake Lively attended the photocall and premiere for 'It Ends With Us' in London.

For the photocall, at the IET Building: Savoy Place, she suited up in STELLA MCCARTNEY RESORT 2025. Love the suit, but I wish that she wore a bandeau underneath and probably pull down the hoisey.

Blake Lively dipped into the VERSACE archives for this FALL 2002 number. I really like the dress, but the fit on the bust is off and I wish this was a floor length.

Blake Lively stepped out for one of her rare appearances to promote her new film ''It Ends With Us'' in New York and she served us with five different looks. 

Look 1:

On Sunday(August 4th) she attended a press junket at the Four Seasons Hotel Downtown in Tribeca wearing a playful, mixed print ensemble from the CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2024 collection. There is a lot going on with this ensemble which features a floral, light weight coat with the matching pants and a polka dot, halter dress. In my opinion, I don't think she pulled this off. She needed to leave something out and it was either the dress or the floral ensemble.

Following the London premiere & photocall, Emma Corrin and more attended the ''Deadpool & Wolverine'' New York premiere which was held at the David Koch Theater on Monday(July 22nd).

Emma Corrin showed off her décolletage in a NINA RICCI FALL 2024 fur collar bodysuit which she paired with sheer black stockings and black pumps. She was definitely on theme for the premiere, but I would swap out the pumps for open-toe heels.
