On Wednesday(April 15th) Tessa Thompson and Emmy Rossum hit the red carpet for ''The Fear of 13'' on Broadway at The James Earl Jones Theater in New York City.
Tessa Thompson looked pretty wearing a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS PRE-FALL 2026 printed dress. Instead of wearing the coordinating flower on the neck, Tessa opted to wear it on her waist. For a pop of color, a red lip was added to her beauty look.
Adria Arjona wore a white draped, halter dress by CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS. I think the creases and wrinkles make it hard to appreciate this great dress.

On Monday(August 5th) Denee Benton, Myha'la and Marisa Abela attended the ''Industry" Season 3 premiere which was held at The Metrograph Theater in New York.
Myha'la came through sparking in a playful MIU MIU beaded fringe, halter mini dress. The dress had potential, but I think the neckline is too long and I would swap those bridal inspired pumps for a simple, ankle strap sandal.
Denee Benton wore an all black ensemble which featured a 3.1 PHILLIP LIM sheer black halter top, CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS trousers and MARC JACOBS Mary Jane's. I'm not 100% sold on the sheer top, the pants has too many creases and I'm not loving her shoe choice.
Blake Lively stepped out for one of her rare appearances to promote her new film ''It Ends With Us'' in New York and she served us with five different looks.
Look 1:
On Sunday(August 4th) she attended a press junket at the Four Seasons Hotel Downtown in Tribeca wearing a playful, mixed print ensemble from the CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2024 collection. There is a lot going on with this ensemble which features a floral, light weight coat with the matching pants and a polka dot, halter dress. In my opinion, I don't think she pulled this off. She needed to leave something out and it was either the dress or the floral ensemble.
On Tuesday(May 21st) Kerry Washington was on the carpet for An evening with EZRA: A storytelling and screening event which was held at Writers Guild Theater on May 21, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California.
CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS has been a celeb favorite for a while now and it's not surprise because he creates some great pieces. I really liked Kerry in this ruffle pleated, peplum dress. CJR always takes on shapes and Kerry definitely pulled this one off.
However, I feel like a simple necklace was needed, but I am still sold on her look. OURA & AURATE NEW YORK jewelry and JIMMY CHOO pumps finished up her look.
On Monday(November 6th) Jennifer Hudson stopped by Good Day NY to promote her tv show ''The Jennifer Hudson Show'' in New York.
For her appearance, she chose a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS PRE-FALL 2023 ivory & olive stripe, over-sized shirt with the matching wide-leg pants. This hits the pajama border but I still like it.
However, I am not that crazy about it on JHud and I prefer how the model wore the shirt, fully un-tucked. Proportion wise, it looks more flattering that way.
Also, I would have liked to see her wearing a colored heel but the pop of color via her purple nails added a nice touch. Despite my quibbles, it was a great outfit choice for her appearance. What do you think of JHud's stripe ensemble?

For the Today Show, she posed in a DRIES VAN NOTEN SPRING 2023 ensemble which was accessorized with ANA KHOURI & JENNIFER FISHER jewelry, a MARK CROSS bag and BY FAR boots. I feel like there is a lot going on here and I do like the pieces individually. She makes high-fashion pieces come together in a weird but good way that works only for her.

For a press appearance, she wore a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2023 ensemble which was paired with SCAROSSO flats and MARISA KLASS jewelry. Love the extra pop of color via the neon pink top because it really helps to balance out the blues. The shape is loose, flowy but doesn't overwhelm. I just wish the pants were hemmed.
Yesterday evening(October 24th) Laura Dern was back promoting ''The Son'' at a screening which was held at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.
The weather was a bit nice in the big apple yesterday but that didn't stop Laura from rocking a turtleneck. Her black turtleneck & dress, which is from the CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2023 collection, featured contrasting colorful stripes.
The colored strips provided color to her look and it is what makes it standout. Her look came together nicely for this casual screening. She dressed up her ensemble with DELFINA DELETTREZ jewelry which topped off her look along with her signature loose waves.

Keke could not be missed wearing a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS PRE-FALL 2022 neon yellow trench with a white crop top underneath and the matching crop pants. Her accessories which consisted of a white HELENA FARRAR bag and neon yellow transparent heels by STUART WEITZMAN played off of her ensemble.
It's a great look indeed but I prefer how in the look book, one of the pieces that the model is wearing has contrasting red dots. The contrast of the color toned down the neon hue but a pink lip was added to her beauty look.
However I still feel like it would have been a great mix within her ensemble. Also it was too hot these past couple of days even for a light weight trench or coat. Again, despite the nitpicking, this is still a great look and her beauty look was flawless. What do you think of Keke's vibrant ensemble?
Yesterday(March 16th) Keke was spotted arriving for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her upcoming film ''Alice'' and the actress rocked a vibrant hue that made her standout.

With her toned abs on display, she wore a vibrant green suit with a long stripe top underneath which was partially buttoned. Love the color on her and the color story here. The blazer looks too big but I am assuming that is the way it was designed.

Rocking a colorful, printed ensemble for Colbert, she wore a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2022 dotted suit. Pulling off a full on printed ensemble can be tough but when done right, the end results can be great as you can see here. I am glad that she ditched the over-sized turtleneck that the suit was shown with in the look book because I prefer it with the matching top. Although it is not visible in this image, she accessorized with a light blue Versace bag which popped against her printed ensemble nicely. GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI purple sandals finished up her look.

Serving up with some color, she posed for the gram in a PH5 SPRING 2022 pink stripe dress with orange trimming and the label's signature, wavy asymmetrical hem. The wavy hem details on the pieces from this brand will always be weird but it's unique and it is what makes these dresses fresh. Playing off of the orange panels, her dress was styled with shiny, orange pumps by PARIS TEXAS. Also if you look closely, the dress features a double pink & orange belt waistband which look slightly odd in placement along with the horizontal stripes across the bust. But overall, I thought her look worked.
Yesterday evening(December 8th) in New York, the premiere for the highly anticipated ''Sex and the City'' reboot, ''And Just Like That'' took place at the Museum of Modern Art.
Sarah Jessica Parker looked elegantly pretty wearing a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA pewter silk-chiffon dress with the matching cape & magnolia hand embroidery, with a blush pink tulle underskirt. SJP never misses a beat when it comes to adding a smokey eye to her look but it always seems to work well with her looks. The hem of her dress was adorned with colorful pailiettes which is what kept it from being basic. My only quibble is that I wish that she kept the look book heels because that chartreuse hue looks so much better with this dress versus the navy velvet mules that she is wearing. Also I would have loved to see her wearing a simple, diamond necklace but nonetheless, she stood out and looked fantastic posing in this bold, fuchsia gown.
Following her previous look, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving her New York hotel this evening(August 5th) on her way to Radio City Music Hall for her concert with Tony Bennett.
