Deivie Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

New York Fashion Week officially starts next thursday but some designers are already showing their collections this week to kick things off. Check out the DEIVIE SPRING/SUMMER 2013 collection by Christina Mannino which features bright hues with a whimsical touch. She drew inspiration from Charles Shyer's film 'Aflie and the Youthquake' movement of the Sixties, when fashion met rock 'n' roll.

My favorite pieces are the tops with the 'peter pan collar' and embroidered gun detail. Dresses and skirts have a 'wave' hemline which creates a nice finish. Sequins, mesh, cotton sateen, silk double Georgette and rayon crepe are some of the fabrications used throughout the collection. I already have my eyes on a few pieces already. What do you think of the collection?
