Following her attendance at the Spirit awards, nominee Ruth Negga attended the 89th Annual Academy Awards this evening(February 26th) at the Hollywood & Highland Center in LA. 

On tune with the carpet, she wore a custom VALENTINO long sleeve red layered lace panel turtleneck gown which was adorned with a blue ACLU ribbon. If Ruth wanted to make an impact on her big night, she did just that.

Ruth Negga in Valentino at the 16th AARP The Magazine's Movies For Grownups Awards

Following her attendance at the Virtuosos awards, Ruth Negga attended the 16th annual AARP The Magazine's Movies For Grownups awards yesterday evening(February 6th) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

For her appearance, she turned to one of her favorite brands, VALENTINO. Her PRE-FALL 2017 long sleeve colorful beaded embroidered floor length sheer tulle dress featured a tie neck detail and a short center front split. I would have loved to see this dress belted for balance but I don't think it photographs that well.

From the front, she looks a little boxy & unflattering in the dress. However seeing an image of her from the side, this colored dress looked nice on her but it still isn't her best. A pink lip color, her signature pixie and GEMFIELDS jewelry finished up her look. Did Ruth sell this look to you?

Ruth Negga in Dolce & Gabbana at the 32nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival Virtuosos Award

Ruth Negga is one of the ones to watch this awards season and yesterday evening(February 4th) she attended the 32nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival Virtuosos Award at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA. 

For her appearance, the 'Loving' star turned to DOLCE & GABBANA. Her on trend long sleeve black embroidered lace & fringe floor length dress was layered with a slip dress underneath for coverage. 

Pops of color came via her red lip, the EDIE PARKER 'Small Trunk clutch  in malachite with zebra hearts and GEMFIELDS emerald stone jewelry. Ruth Negga is one of the top front style runners this awards season. Yesterday evening(January 7th) she attended the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

She hit the red carpet in THE VAMPIRE'S WIFE 'Cate' black & pink floral lame three-quarter sleeve ruffled dress. I can't say that I am loving this dress on Ruth but I definitely don't think the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN 'Marchavekel' sandals works with it.

Beauty wise, she went with her signature curly short haircut and fuchsia lip. GEMFIELDS & FRED LEIGHTON jewelry finished up her look. We loved her last look so are you sold on this one?

Ruth Negga in Erdem at the Variety 20th Impact Awards & '10 Directors to Watch'

Following her attendance at the Palm Springs Film Festival awards, Ruth Negga stepped out for the Variety celebrates the 20th Annual Impact Awards and the '10 Directors to Watch' yesterday(January 3rd) at Parker Palm Springs in Palm Springs, CA. 

For the occasion, she wore a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2017 dress which featured a light blue floral long sleeve, mock neck top, a pink satin waistband and a printed sequin skirt. I really adore this fashion forward dress on Ruth but the length of the skirt doesn't work for me. 

On the model the dress stops at the calf and given that Ruth is shorter, it hits her ankle. I wish she had it shorten just a little and also those NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD pumps doesn't pair well with this dress. She finished up with a complimentary beauty look and TIFFANY & CO & GEMFIELDS jewelry. Does the length of the dress work for you?

Ruth Negga in Valentino at the 2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards

Before she won her 'Rising Star' award, Ruth Negga posed on the red carpet at the 2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film awards gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center yesterday evening(January 2nd) in Palm Springs, California.

Turning to one of her go to brands, she wore a VALENTINO SPRING 2017 sheer organza printed beaded v-neck gown. Instead of wearing nude briefs like presented on the runway, she opted for blue shorts for coverage. 

Beauty wise, she kept it simple with her signature short natural curls and a red lip. Ruth is beautiful but I can't say that I am wowed by this because we saw this look a lot last year. Also It appears that she had the plunging neckline shorten which made the waist higher and that doesn't work for me.  A LUCIFER FOR GEMFIELDS ring finished up her look. Ruth Negga in Givenchy Couture at the 26th Gotham Independent Film Awards

Ruth Negga stepped on the scene earlier this year and while she hasn't wowed us, she had some great looks. Yesterday evening(November 28th) she attended the 26th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani, Wall Street in New York.

She posed for pictures wearing a GIVENCHY FALL 2016 COUTURE back strapless chain & beaded fringe embellished column dress. I kinda wish the beading sat higher on the top and the beading on the waist was removed. 

It's like I want to like this because Ruth is beautiful and the minimal styling worked. However I am still not sold. GEMFIELDS jewelry, a JUDITH LEIBER clutch and a red lip finished up her look. Did Ruth sell this look to you?
