Following her attendance at the Spirit awards, nominee Ruth Negga attended the 89th Annual Academy Awards this evening(February 26th) at the Hollywood & Highland Center in LA.
On tune with the carpet, she wore a custom VALENTINO long sleeve red layered lace panel turtleneck gown which was adorned with a blue ACLU ribbon. If Ruth wanted to make an impact on her big night, she did just that.

I am not wowed. It is a beautiful dress and she looks fine and correct but I was expecting something with some sparkle. I think she could do better than this for such occasion.
