Designer Collaboration: Mugler x H&M

H&M is back with their newest designer collaboration and this one is for the books. The Swedish retailer will be collaborating with the iconic fashion house of Mugler. This MUGLER x H&M collaboration will showcase a mix of new pieces, and Mugler signature looks, with a mix of several archive remakes. This will be the chance for fashionista's everywhere to own a piece of Mugler's fashion history. 

I am sure everyone including me will waiting in the wings to shop this anticipated collection. For the campaign, a reimagined version of Stardust’s 1998 hit ''Music Sounds Better with You'' was created by Amaarae, Shygirl, Eartheater and Arca who worked with producer Ashland Mines. The Mugler x H&M collection drops May 11th on hm.com and globally at select H&M stores.

Instagram Style: Gillian Jacobs in Simone Rocha x H&M Doing Press

Gillian Jacobs is back doing some virtual press and her stylist Erica Cloud posted her new look to instagram on Saturday(April 17th). 

She posed for the gram in a SIMONE ROCHA x H&M pink layered dress and red hair clips & earrings which is based off of the designers Fall 2019 collection. It's nothing new that the Simone's pieces are difficult but some celebs has had some success in her dresses. 

As I stare at this piece, I am thinking ''this would have looked great with a belt and the contrasting red beading over the bust looks like eyebrows.'' But this is an interesting and unique look that Gillian is selling. 

I am thankful that she didn't wearing the look books fur trimmed flats because they are distracting with this already standout dress. She kept the red bow back knee socks which was teamed with ROGER VIVIER boots. Head styling was perfection which completed her look. Are you sold on Gillian's instagram style?

Zozibini Tunzi in Ramy Brook at the NY Build Series

Congratulations to Zozibini Tunzi, 2019 Miss South Africa for winning her new title as the 2019 Miss Universe. Yesterday(December 13th) she was spotted leaving the AOL Build Series in New York to discuss her new title. 

For her appearance, she wore the RAMY BROOK 'Dahlia' copper metallic tuxedo blazer with the matching 'Lucinda' ankle length trousers. While she could have easily gone with a basic black top, she kept things interesting with a printed black & white top underneath by H&M.

Even thought I don't like the top, Zozibini shimmered beautifully in her power suit which worked for her appearance. Accessorized with gold earrings and STEVE MADDEN pumps, her looked was completed with a flawless beauty look.

2019 GirlUp 'Girl Hero' Awards

Yesterday evening(October 13th) the 2019 Girl Up GirlHero Awards took place at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in LA.

Cara Delevingne was full of holes courtesy of GUY LAROCHE. Her SPRING 2020 denim jumpsuit featured cutout circles. It takes a real, bad chick to rock a look full of holes like this and Cara is that chick. But honestly, I would love to see this on Rihanna.

2nd EMA Honors Benefit Gala

On Saturday(September 28th) the 2nd annual Environmental Media Association (EMA) honors benefit gala took place at a Private Estate in Pacific Palisades, California.

Nina Dobrev looked great wearing a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION black & white daisy embroidered, crepe midi dress which was accessorized with a black clutch & JIMMY CHOO sandals.  However I kinda miss the belt that the dress was shown with in the look book.

Olivia Munn, Jasmine Sanders & Kiersey Clemons in H&M Conscious Collection at the 2018 MET Gala

Olivia Munn and Jasmine Sanders were a golden girls wearing H&M CONSCIOUS COLLECTION this evening(May 7th) for the 2018 MET Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. 

Olivia Munn wore a sleeveless gold floor length chainmail dress with a v-neckline, a split detail, a short train in the back and held with gold rings. Olivia's custom veil incorporated the theme which was made by MICHAEL SCHMIDT. LOUBOUTIN heels and a red lips finished up her look. 

Jasmine Sanders wore a pleated off-the-shoulder v-neck gown with a voluminous skirt which featured a split detail. Loving her braid which was adorned with roses. Minimal make-up, a statement necklace and gold GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look. 

Kiersey Clemons debut a blonde buzz cut wearing a sleeveless embellished layered dress with a v-neckline. Adding a touch of color to her golden look, she went with a pink lip color. NEIL LANE jewelry finished up her look.

On Friday(April 13th) Juana Acosta & Eugenia Silva attended the 2018 Malaga Film Festival Gala Inauguration in Madrid, Spain. 

Juana Acosta wore a H&M CONSCIOUS EXCLUSIVE 2018 green floral calf length dress which featured a pleated skirt and side pockets which she utilized. To compliment her look, she added a pink lip and ponytail to her beauty look. Statement earrings and a silver clutch & pumps finished up her look. 

Eugenia Silva wore a ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2017 orange sleeveless sequin & lace layered crop top and a orange sequin floor length skirt. Eugenia pieces were styled her pieces opposite the runway and I am glad that she did. However I can't say that I am loving the top. A statement clutch & jewelry, red lips and side parted medium waves finished up her look.

'Gringo' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Charlize Theron & Lupita Nyong'o, Nafessa Williams, Paris Jackson and Amanda Seyfried attended the 'Gringo' premiere yesterday evening(March 6th) at L.A. Live Regal Cinema in LA. 

Nafessa Williams steppes out in a THAI NGUYEN SPRING 2018 ensemble which featured the 'Abbey' cold-shoulder marble v-neck top and the matching 'Saint' marble wide-leg pants. I like this marble print ensemble on Nafessa but my only issue is that I wish she had the hemmed better. A ponytail and smokey eyes offset with a glossy nude lip finished up her look. 

Paris Jackson who is featured in the film, wore a VALENTINO sheer black silk-chiffon pleated gown a v-neckline and a serpent embellished neckline from the PRE-FALL 2018 collection. A DJULA ring, CARTIER bracelets, NEIL J. RODGERS sandals and a red lip finished up her look.

Amanda Seyfried wore a black sleeveless H&M lace embroidered dress with a high neckline and a black bodysuit underneath for coverage. Rocking center part curl locks which were adorned with sparkly clips, she finished up with minimal make-up and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals.

Ashley Graham, Sasha Lane & Nicki Minaj in H&M at the 2017 MET Gala

Dressed in H&M Ashley Graham, Sasha Lane and Nicki Minaj attended the Rei Kawakubo Comme des Garcons-Art of the In-Between 2017 MET Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art on May 1st in New York.  

Ashley Graham who also attended a pre-Met party, worked her frame in a strapless white & red floor length gown with cascading tulle florals from the shoulder to the hem of the gown. A slick side part up-do, PIAGET jewelry and SCHUTZ sandals finished up her look. 

Sasha Lane wore a black strapless beaded organza calf length dress. Another sheer look, similar to something we have already seen. However I can't say that I like the bodice of the dress but I like her beauty look. The EDIE PARKER 'Jean' clutch finished up her look.

Nicki Minaj showed some leg in a black & red beaded panel jacket with a belted waist & dramatic train and black shorts. This is such a Nicki look but it definitely worked for the occasion. VERSACE sandals, red lip and straight tresses finished up her look.

Lupita Nyong'o in Kenzo x H&M at the 'Loving' NY Premiere

Following her attendance at the ELLE WIH, Lupita Nyong'o attended the premiere of 'Loving yesterday evening(October 26th) at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in New York.

Wearing her second look from the KENZO X H&M collection, she wore a ruffled off-the-shoulder floral top and wide leg pants with a neon green drawstring waist. 

I love this dress on Lupita. The colors looks great against her skin and this is a much better piece on her versus the dress she wore previously from this collection. A braided up-do and complimentary make-up finished up her look.
