'Wicked' LA Premiere

On Saturday(November 9th) the premiere of Universal Pictures ''Wicked'' was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on in LA.

Ariana Grande wore a custom look by THOM BROWNE. She looks like she is going to prom at Rydell High School. It looks like she is wearing sheer stockings with her glitter pumps, and both weren't a good choice.

Cynthia Erivo could not be missed wearing a green latex cutout dress with a fringe coat by LOUIS VUITTON. Love the jewelry and the green is definitely an ode to the film, but I am not a fan of the dress design.

Idina Menzel in Aknvas for the 'Today' show

Idina Menzel is currently promoting her new album ''Drama Queen'' and on Thursday(August 17th) she stopped by the Today Show to discuss it and more. 

For her appearance, she wore a AKNVAS PRE-FALL 2023 ensemble. I love the color but I don't think it's a color that suits her. Also, I feel like the top half doesn't belong with those pants. 

She should have either ditched the sweater bib or wore the matching blazer which if from the same collection. She just doesn't have the edge appeal to pull off a unique, layered top like this. 

The sweater vest is an odd design in general and probably not the easiest thing to pull off but it's serves its purpose better on the model. Are you feeling Idina's look?

Idina Menzel in J. Mendel at the 92nd Academy Awards

Following her attendance at the Spirit awards, Idina Menzel hit the red carpet for the 92nd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday(February 9th) at the Hollywood and Highland in LA.

Idina chose a J. MENDEL SPRING 2020 red strapless, silk-organza gown which was accented with a bow waist sash. If this looks familiar, that's because Amanda Hearst wore the look book hue in September 2019.

Although we have seen this style from the designer before, it was a great choice but unflattering on her. However it doesn't excite. HARRY WINSTON jewelry and a center part up-do finished up her look.

Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell took a break from promoting 'Frozen 2' to attend their Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony today(November 19th) in LA.

Idina Menzel looked great wearing a EQUIPMENT FALL 2019 long sleeve red tie-neck, pleated dress which she teamed with coordinating CASADEI sandals. Center part tresses and light make-up finished up her look. 

Kristen Bell stepped out in a CUSHNIE RESORT 2020 white ensemble which featured a semi-sheer cutout bandage turtleneck top and a layered liquid cady & pleated chiffon panel skirt. Her ensemble was offset with nude pumps which topped off her great look along with her signature bob.

Disney's 'Frozen 2' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Sofia Carson joined the cast of Disney's 'Frozen 2' and more at the premiere yesterday evening(November 7th) which was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Evan Rachel Wood has been a suit girl for a while but that changed. She opted for a strapless nude, embellished tulle tea length gown from the OSCAR DE LA RENTA SPRING 2020 collection. While I am not sold on the color for her, she does look lovely. However I do wish this was lined.

Idina Menzel in Thai Nguyen at the 2016 American Music Awards

Happily engaged Idina Menzel hit the red carpet this evening(November 20th) at the 2016 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

Jumping on the sheer bandwagon, she wore a black strapless sheer trumpet gown with multi-color embellishments from the THAI NGUYEN SPRING 2017 collection.  Idina changed the bodysuit for her dress which I think worked better for her.

The dress seems a little long but she looks great in it. Her face looks a little stiff but I do like her smokey eyes & colored lip and side swept waves which topped off her look along with a JUDITH LEIBER clutch. What do you think of Idina's look?

Idina Menzel in David Meister at the American Film Institute's 44th Life Achievement Award Gala

Idina Menzel attended the American Film Institute's 44th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to John Williams at the Dolby Theatre yesterday evening in Hollywood, CA.

She hit the red carpet in a sleeveless DAVID MEISTER black and silver geo metallic layered evening gown. I like this gown but I think it's a little too long on Idina and the skirt is a bit unflattering on her. With that said, I do like the addition of the skinny black belt.

Beauty wise, she went with a shimmery smokey eye offset with a glossy nude lip and side parted layered tresses which topped off her look along with a black clutch and STUART WEITZMAN heels. What do you think of Idina's look?

Idina Menzel & Laverne Cox in Michael Costello at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Idina Menzel and Laverne Cox both stepped out in black MICHAEL COSTELLO FALL 2016 dress this evening at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. 

Idina Menzel shimmered in a black sequin and ribbed strap fitted dress with cold shoulders. Idina's  knee length dress is a modified version of the floor length gown. She also added a sheer illusion panel to the bodice for coverage. I think the modified dress worked in her favor. Silver drop earrings, black sandals, a Bespoke EDIE PARKER clutch and straight off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look. 

Laverne Cox worked her frame in a long sleeve train detail gown with sequin embroidered panels. I thought Laverne looked beautiful but I think she is a bit overdressed for the Billboards. She could have saved this for a more dressier occasion. Her make-up and hair looked great as well.
