Disney`s 'Maleficent-Mistress of Evil' LA Premiere

The world premiere of Disney`s 'Maleficent-Mistress of Evil' took place yesterday evening(September 30th) at the El Capitan Theatre in LA.

Elle Fanning always keeps me wanting more, as she commanded attention in this off-the-shoulder, green silk-chiffon layered gown by GUCCI. Her gown was accented with delicate florals and featured sparkly silver straps. She was easily my favorite. 

Angelina Jolie went the all black route as she sometimes does, courtesy of VERSACE. Her ATELIER black one-shoulder draped panel  sequin gown, featured a diamond scorpion brooch which was definitely needed to keep her look somewhat interesting. While I don't think this is a bad look, it just feels like her familiar route.

Amanda Hearst who is the heir of the Hearst Corporation, husband directed the film. She looked simply beautiful wearing a J. MENDEL SPRING 2020 pink strapless, bow-accent and pleated organza gown, with a front slit. Sure we have seen similar gowns like this by Mendel on the carpet but she sells it.

Michelle Pfeiffer wore a custom GIORGIO ARMANI antique rose satin halter gown with a contrasting navy FALL 2019 velvet belt. The contrasting belt was definitely needed to breathe life into her gown. However I am not sold quality of the gown and as I was looking at a close-up image of the straps, the width & placement of it doesn't work for me. With so many beautiful pieces from his runway Prive collection, I can't believe she chose this.

Heidi Klum went the sexy route as always, wearing a DUNDAS PRE-FALL 2019 red strapless, bustier mini dress with an asymmetric draped side panel. Sparkles came via her jewelry which topped off her look along with matching GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals.
