70th Directors Guild of America Awards Wrap-up

Gugu Mbatha-Raw sparkled in a OSCAR DE LA RENTA black &  navy strapless sequin embellished dress with a fringe hem. She dressed up her look with jewelry courtesy of ANNA SHEFFIELD which topped off her look along with JIMMY CHOO sandals and a curly up-do. 

Allison Janney has been serving up some winning looks this awards season and she came through with another one. She wore a J. MENDEL red dress which featured a long sleeve, v-neck floral lace embroidered top and a hi-lo hem detail. ARA VARTANIAN jewelry, a SYLVA & CIE ring and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Keesha Sharp stepped out in a RAMY BROOK black v-neck dress. Her look is so forgettable, even with the red lip and jewelry. Also the fit on the bust is off. She is beautiful this look is a miss for me.

Kerry Washington wore a black MICHAEL KORS satin gown which she accessorized with ATELIER TASAKI x PRABAL GURUNG jewelry and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. Minimal make-up and a frayed ponytail. 

Niecy Nash waist was snatched in a pink beaded MACDUGGAL floor length dress with a v-neckline, a cutout back and a thigh high split. KUKKA earrings, a JASON OF BEVERLY HILLS ring, MARCHESA sandals and a complimentary beauty look finished up her look.

Laverne Cox wore a ABYSS BY ABBY sheer sparkly dress with a v-neckline, a thigh high split and a bodysuit underneath for coverage. She looks great but we have seen this look a lot on the carpet. H. STERN jewelry, a L'AFSHAR clutch, STUART WEITZMAN sandals, red lips and center part light waves finished up her look.

Jordana Brewster wore a J. MENDEL RESORT 2018 sleeveless blush pink & gold pleated & lace panel cocktail dress which she accessorized with SARA WEINSTOCK jewelry and JIMMY CHOO. Center part waves and smokey eyes finished up her great look. 

Sofia Black-D'Elia wore the STUAD 'Sierra' light blue chiffon ankle length dress with contrasting blue ties and tiers of ruffle. In the look book, Sofia's dress was worn on the shoulder but I loved that she wore it down as the detail enhances her look. Also I like her sandal choice which topped off her look. 

Jamie Chung wore a CINQ A SEPT FALL 2017 long sleeve black ruffle off-the-shoulder dress styled with an HEIRLOOM bag and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. Center part waves and a colored lip topped off her great look.

Serayah showed a little skin wearing a HAMEL black long sleeve fitted dress with slashed sides. She accessorized with BUTANI jewelry and CESARE PACCIOTTI black cage studded heels.

On Monday(September 12th) Keesha Sharp, Jordana Brewster and Chandler Kinney hit the red carpet at the 'Lethal Weapon' TV Series Season 1 LA premiere at NeueHouse Hollywood. 

Keesha Sharp wore a black LULUS one-shoulder cut-out dress with an asymmetrical draped side panel. I thought she looked cute but a statement sandal could have enhanced the sultry appeal of her dress. GRAZIELA GEMS & RACHEL KATZ jewelry, a ONE.61 clutch and side swept curls finished up her look. 

Jordana Brewster shoes some leg as well wearing a TORY BURCH FALL 2016 long sleeve printed mini dress styled with an TYLER ALEXANDER clutch and ankle strap sandals.  

Chandler Kinney wore a ALICE + OLIVIA SPRING 2016 red v-neck layered ruffled dress with an hi lo hem. She accessorized with an KATE HEWKO choker and TAMARA MELLON sandals. I am thankfully that she didn't wear predictable black sandals with this dress, she looks nice.
