Swarovski x Skims NYC Flagship Store Opening

Following their attendance at the CFDA awards, Kim Kardashian, Lala, Teyana Taylor and more attended the Swarovski x SKIMS collaboration celebration and the unveiling of the NYC Flagship Store on Tuesday(November 7th) in New York City. The guests were wearing SWAROVSKI x SKIMS unless otherwise stated. 

Lala wore a brown crystal catsuit which she dressed up with a golf necklace. She looked great in it but I wish that she wore gold heels as well. 

Kim Kardashian of course wore a custom look from the collection. It's nothing fresh or different but it works for her. 

Teyana Taylor and her abs made an entrance, rocking a sexy ensemble. My only quibble is that I wish that she wore open-toe heels.

The ''Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever'' premiere took place yesterday evening(October 6th) at the Dolby Theatre in LA.

Rihanna made her return to the carpet since giving birth to her first child & she is singing the lead song off of the soundtrack. She chose a structured sequin dress from the RICK OWENS SPRING 2023 collection with GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. I think the dress works perfectly for her, it's those gloves that doesn't belong.

Yesterday(January 8th) in Pasadena, Ca, the 2020 ABC TCA Winter Press Tour took place at The Langham Huntington Hotel and the networks stars were on the blue carpet.

Allison Miller of 'A Million Little Things' wore the STINE GOYA 'Autumn' blue & burgundy daffodil printed, ruffle blouse with the matching 'Debra' pants. A part of me wants to see how the shirt would look tucked in but I like the color combo. 

Constance Wu wore a MISSONI black and white mini dress with an contrasting orange peter pan collar. She accessorized her printed piece with the CAROLINA SANTO DOMINGO 'Eva' bag and CASADEI pumps. I kinda wish she wore ankle strap pumps or sandals and booties because these suede pumps feel a tad heavy.

On hand as a presenter, Lake Bell attended the 2019 Max Mara Women In Film Gala this evening(June 12th) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

For the occasion, she wore a MARINA MOSCONE SPRING 2019 black sleeveless knit tunic dress, featuring contrasting white inserts on the cutout sides and a feather hem.

Beauty wise, she kept it simple with a red lip for a pop of color and straight behind-the-ear tresses. I would probably swap out the mule pumps for a peep-toe style. A black clutch finished up her look.

Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards

The  Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards which was presented by Max Mara, Lancôme and Lexus, took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday(June 13th) in Beverly Hills, California. All of the guest were wearing MAX MARA unless otherwise stated. 

Alison Brie wore a navy strapless stain top and navy trousers which she teamed perfectly with PIERRE HARDY sandals. A gold necklace and center part waves finished up her look. 

Alexandra Shipp who was this year's honoree, wore a green floor length halter dress. Her dress was styled with BELADORA jewelry, a JIMMY CHOO clutch and MALONE SOULIERS heels which topped off her look along with a complimentary beauty look. 

Katherine Langford wore a long sleeve black velvet ankle length dress with a low, scoop neck back. The dress feels too heavy for LA and I don't think it suits her.

Last night(November 30th) Andrea Riseborough, Lake Bell, January Jones and Sylvia Hoeks attended the Nicholas Kirkwood & China hosted dinner for Matches Fashion in LA.

Andera Riseborough wore a silver metallic pleated jumpsuit which she toughen up with a black leather moto jacket with fringe sleeves. She topped off her look with minimal make-up and the NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Lola' pumps. 

Lake Bell wore an ADEAM FALL 2017 black asymmetrical ruffle & lace panel top and L'AGENCE 'Lorelei' high rise jeans. Straight tresses, a black clutch and the NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Leda' black suede pumps topped off her great look.  

January Jones was the stand out here wearing a ALEXANDRA RICH FALL 2017 long sleeve red ankle length dress with a mock neckline, contrasting white buttons on the shoulders and a belted waist. Love this dress on January which she styled with the NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Zaha' sandals. 

Sylvia Hoeks wore a J. W. ANDERSON FALL 2017 gold jacquard knit, flare knit dress with asymmetrical short sleeves and hem. There were no frontal images of Sylvia in this dress but from what I can see, I thought she wore it well. The NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD 'Penelope' pearl sandals, a colored lip and light waves finished up her look.

To promote her new film 'I Do...Until I Don't, Lake Bell stopped by the AOL Build Series in New York on yesterday(September 5th) to discuss the film.

For her outing, she wore the J BRAND X BELLA FREUD 'Sparkle Boy Girl' gold lurex sweater which she styled with the L.K. BENNETT 'Judi' black pencil skirt.

I like this sweater which can be styled with everything from denim to trousers. Accessorized with the STELLA LUNA FALL 2017 'Architect' white slingback & dark sunglasses, she finished up her look with wavy tresses.

Lake Bell in Sandro on Home & Family

Before she attended the Home Again premiere, Lake Bell appeared in Home & Family on the Hallmark Channel early yesterday(August 29th) at Universal Studios in LA. 

For her appearance, she wore a SANDRO silk mini dress with a tie neckline and three-quarter ruched sleeves in a heart tattoo print. I like this dress on Lake but my only quibble is that I wish she wore her hair off-the-shoulder. 

Keeping the styling of her look simple, she finished up her look with minimal make-up and red suede pumps and a gold bracelet. What do you think of Lake's look?

Yesterday evening(August 29th) Reese Witherspoon & Lake Bell attended the 'Home Again' premiere at the DGA Theater in LA.

Even though the top looks a bit tight on her and the style feels a bit familiar, it works for her. Lake Bell wore a ANTONIO BERARDI FALL 2017 black long sleeve, fitted knee length dress. The colorful embroidered collar saves this from being a simple LBD. Also her EDIE PARKER 'Jean' clutch and the TAMARA MELLON 'Rebel' yellow pumps complimented her look. A red lip and straight tresses with bangs finished up her look.

Tracee Ellis Ross & more attended the Women in Film LA 2017 Crystal + Lucy Awards at The Beverly Hilton yesterday evening(June 13th) in LA.

Nicole Richie wore a black CHRISTIAN DIOR tie off-the-shoulder floor length dress. The sleeves looks a little too loos but I do like the dress. A sleek, complimentary up-do, wing tip eyes and SARAH FLINT heels finished up her look.

Peyton List looked really cute in the MARTHA MEDEIROS ‘Nadia Tata’ long sleeve powder blue lace embroidered mini dress with a matching floral neckline. 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 2

Following Day 1, more celebs stepped out for the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Day 2 at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday(September 11th) in LA. 

Vanessa Hudgens worked her left leg in a MARIA LUCIA HOHAN pewter metallic pleated high split dress styled with strappy sandals. Beauty wise, she went with matching smokey eyes and side parted curls. 

Heidi Klum shimmered in a ROLAND MOURET strapless pink metallic floor length dress with a split neck. Metallic can be hard to wear but I thought Heidi looked great in this sleek number. However the dress is a bit too long. A statement chain necklace, straight off-the-shoulder tresses and minimal make-up finished up her look. 

Lake Bell wore a silver & black beaded NAEEM KHAN FALL 2016 beaded fringe evening dress with a sheer panel yoke. I am not a fan of the platform sandals that she is wearing but the dress looks nice on her. An EDIE PARKER clutch & JOHN HARDY jewelry finished up her look.

Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper & Lake Bell at 'The Secret Life of Pets' NYC Premiere

On Saturday(June 25th) Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper and Lake Bell posed on the green carpet together at the premiere of The Secret Life of Pets in New York. 

Jenny Slate wore a red & nude lace embroidered HUISHAN ZHANG SPRING 2016 three-quarter sleeve layered dress with an off-the-shoulder detail and black pipping. A complimentary colored lip would have been a nice edition but other than that she looks great. Red ankle strap pumps and a curly up-do finished up her look. 

Ellie Kemper wore a black and cobalt blue floral printed short sleeve dress. The ballerina scalloped edge flats definitely suits Ellie but a better shoe choice to enhance her look would have been ideal. However this is a children's movie and maybe she was going for comfort. 

Lake Bell wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA sleeveless floral stretch-cotton poplin dress styled with a pewter clutch and black sandals. I have no complaints about Lake's dress & JENNIFER FISHER jewelry, however it's hard to appreciate her when I can't get pass her new blonde hair. I like Lake and I am not sure if it's the roots being a different color from the hair but the color is not her friend.

Claire Danes wore a DOLCE &GABBANA sleeveless gunmetal floral brocade dress styled simply with black cut-out ankle strap pumps. Adding some life to her look, a vibrant pink lip was added to her beauty look. 

Cynthia Addai-Robinson of Arrow & Chicago Med wore a MAX MARA mixed media dress which featured a sleeveless champagne beaded top and a copper skirt. This is a cute, sophisticated look but I wish she wore a more interesting pair of heels. 

Maria Bello was the only one who was in spring mode wearing a sleeveless pink, red & white MAX MARA floral pleated dress styled with pink patent pumps.  

Lake Bell wore a VIONNET PRE-FALL 2016 short sleeve two-tone knit layered cocktail dress with a pleated & sheer net skirt. On this occasion, I find that her black pumps which are CASADEI worked with this dress. I just wish she gave us something make-up & hair wise. A ponytail and a black clutch topped off her look.
