Mackage is Supporting the Fight Against Breast Cancer
MACKAGE is another doing somethin to support the fight against Breast Cancer for the month of October. Elisa Dahan, half of Mackage's design team, lost her mother to the disease at age eight so supoorting this cause is important to her. Mackage Spring / Summer 2012 Collection
So fashionista's, MACKAGE started NYFW a day earlier by debuting their Spring/Summer 2012 collection at the Hudson Hotel. I had the opportunity to attend the presentation and I really loved what I saw. The collection started off dark with blacks, then navy and then muted tones. The leather accents and the biker jackets gave the collection a girly goth feel. It was so feminine but with a masculine edge. The pompom pieces that the models wore on different areas of their body like their hair, neck, wrist and shoes, set the tone for the collection by infusing the styles together. My favorite piece from the collection was the indigo cropped leather jacket with padding along with the black hooded zip front jumper. The white leather dress with silk chiffon sleeves makes for a very stylish party piece and I can see it on the red carpet for a premier or something. The pieces are transitional along with having a cool and soft vibe. Continue to see rest of the collection.

Fashion's Night Out with Mackage
Fashion's Night Out is back and you can join MACKAGE at their Soho boutique for a night of fashionista styling. Fans of the brand will have the opportunity to style their own looks that will be guided by famed blogger, The Galmourai and enter to win the entire look. DJ Evalicious will be spinning tunes and you can also go into the Mackage photo booth to upload your photo on facebook. The event will be held on September 8th from 6pm-11pm at 123 Mercer street. No one could forget the tragedy that struck Japan last month. Mackage, a brand known for their luxury outerwear, has designed three red cherry leather jackets to support Japan's recovery efforts. $100 from each sale of the jackets will be given to provide food, water and shelter to help the people in Japan.
