Jenny Slate in Mulberry at the 25th Critics Choice Awards

It's been a while since I have seen Jenny Slate on the carpet but she is on hand for the 25th Annual Critics Choice Awards this evening(January 12th) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.

While most celebs are wearing current season or spring pieces, Jenny Slate chose a dress from the MULBERRY FALL 2017 collection. Her 'Lana’ castle blue floral embroidered silk dress featured a plunging neckline and a handkerchief hem.  

A contrasting black velvet waistband was added to Jenny's dress to nip the waist and it worked in her favor. This hem style is tricky to pull off but Jenny sells it and I thought she looked great overall.

ANABELA CHAN earrings, and DJULA, MATEO & KALLATI rings and a complimentary beauty put the finishing touches on her look. What do you think of Jenny's look?

Gabrielle Union & Jessica Alba at the 59th Monte Carlo TV Festival TV Series Party

Following their attended the photocall, Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba posed together again at the 59th Monte Carlo TV Festival series party on Saturday(June 15th) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Gabrielle Union looked lovely as can be in a green floral, bow embellished MIU MIU babydoll dress. Sliver sandals would have been boring and a safe choice, but thankfully she chose a strong, balanced hue. Her purple satin, platform sandals paired perfectly with her dress. 

Jessica Alba chose a SILVIA TCHERASSI SPRING 2019 orange pleated, v-neck dress which was belted at the waist. Jessica had the v-neck shorten which didn't hurt her look. However I do wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulders but her look still works. Once again, accessories played a part in the enhancement of a look. A MULBERRY bag and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals rounded out her look.

For The View, she stepped out wearing an army green wool coat and the DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER SPRING 2019 'Summer Move' caramel gold fringe cardigan and the 'Wild Patches' pleated color-block skirt. The pieces together look great but I wish she had the cardigan tucker in the skirt, and belted at the waist. Nonetheless, this was greatly styled. Dark sunglasses, MELINDA MARIA, GRAZIELA GEMS & EF COLLECTION jewelry, a MULBERRY bag and MALONE SOULIERS heels rounded out her look.

Rosa Salazar in Mulberry at the 'Bird Box' New York Premiere

Rosa Salazar caught my eye as she posed for pictures at the special screening of 'Bird Box' yesterday evening(December 17th) at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York.

The actress who is one of the stars in the film, wore the MULBERRY FALL 2018 'Mila' white floral dress, which featured a white solid yoke panel and a fur trimmed bodice & sleeves. She also wore rose peach, large twist pearl earrings which is from the fashion house as well.  

I am not sure how some might feel about the fur trim detail but I actually like it. From the side on the model, it almost comes off as a crop fur jacket but the detail adds a unique, chic appeal to her floral dress. She rounded out her look with a center part ponytail, a red lip and NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD sandals. What do you think of Rosa's look?

Suki Waterhouse has great style but I love how she rocks modern pieces with a retro appeal. The model/actress attended the 2018 Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday evening(December 10th) in London.

She stepped out in head to toe MULBERRY SPRING 2019 which featured the 'Leslie' pale yellow viscose crepe, the pink small 'Harlow' bag and round buckle pumps. 

I really like this look on Suki because it suits her style but I wish she kept the look books mint pumps. The hue reads spring/summer but they work so much better with the yellow over her metallic pair. What do you think of Suki's look?

Gabrielle Union, Taylor Schilling & Jena Malone at 'The Public' 2018 Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Yesterday(September 9th) Gabrielle Union, Taylor Schilling and Jena Malone hit the red carpet for the premiere of 'The Public' during 2018 Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

Gabrielle Union stepped out in a VALENTINO FALL 2018 black midi dress, featuring a split floral cape panel neckline. Instead of wearing pumps or sandals, Gabby opted for STUART WEITZMAN black boots. A pop of color came via her green IRENE NEUWIRTH ring which topped off her look along with a side parted bob. 

Taylor Schilling wore the MULBERRY SPRING 2018 'Meredith' light candy pink cap sleeve, v-neck dress featured a structured pleated skirt. While the dress wasn't belted in the look book, I am thankful that Taylor added one because it give the dress balance. Also I like the contrast of the burgundy velvet belt. However I can't say that I am loving the fabric but the styling pulls it together. HEARTS OF FIRE jewelry, a LORIBLU clutch and CASADEI sandals finished up her look.  

Jena Malone who was off the scene for a while, wore the EMILIA WICKSTEAD PRE-FALL 2018 'Georgina' sleeveless snake effect, crepe gown, featuring a mock neckline. Her look was accessorized with black gloves and platform sandals. It's not necessarily warm in Toronto so I get the gloves but as I keep staring at her look, they add a chic edge to her serpent look.

Ellie Goulding in Connolly at the 2018 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards

Stylewise, I don't think Ellie Goulding has been the most consistent. Today(July 6th) in London, she hit the blue carpet at the 2018 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards.

For the occasion, she wore a CONNOLLY SPRING 2018 white double breasted jacket which she teamed with white wide-leg trousers. I love the hazelnut version in the look book but the white works better for Ellie. However the fit of the jacket is the main issue here. 

You can see how it's pulling around the bust which throws the fit off and because she is on the move, the creases are simply inevitable. Also the black pumps are a snooze. However I do like the MULBERRY statement earrings, which you can get a closer look via her stylist instagram.

Amber Valletta made her way to the red carpet today(May 18th) for the 'Wonderstruck' premiere during the 70th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

For the occasion, she wore head to toe MULBERRY FALL 2017 which featured a ruffled floral one long sleeve dress with an asymmetrical hem, a silver statement necklace, croc embossed clutch and embellished sandals. 

Amber's dress is a modified version of the runway piece and given her style, the modified dress worked better with it's modern top. Ensuring that nothing competes with her printed look, she went with minimal make-up and a slick, side parted bun which finished up her look.
