Tumblr Style: Beyonce in Nicole Miller

Beyonce low-key stepped out on Saturday(February 25th) for the Weinstein Company pre-Oscar dinner party in LA. While their were a few images of Bey at the party, she posted a full image of her look via her website's tumblr. 

Cradling her growing baby bump, Bey posed for pictures wearing a green NICOLE MILLER long sleeve off-the-shoulder stretch-jersey dress with a back split. Beyonce loves to layer-up on jewelry and with a simple dress like this, it was needed to keep her look alive. 

KIMBERLY MCDONALD earrings, H. STERN & COOMI necklaces, LE VIAN bracelets and PASQUALE BRUNI, DORON PALOMA, NARCISA PHERES and HEARTS ON FIRE rings, center part waves, a pink lip and JIL SANDER velvet sandals finished up her look. This not a wow moment but she does look very pretty.

Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards Wrap-up

On Saturday(March 12th) Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards took place at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Debby Ryan wore a MIKAEL D SPRING 2016 black short sleeve fitted dress with lace panels. Instead of wearing a strappy sandals with her LBD, Debbi opted for metallic CESARE PACIOTTI cut-out pumps. Adding a playful detail to her look, she also accessorized with the LES PETITS JOUEURS 'AAH!' clutch. A smokey eye, pink lips and straight off-the-shoulder tresses completed her look. 

Skai Jackson was one of my favorites as the young starlet looked great in a GUCCI two-piece suit which was styled with JNB jewelry, a fun wavy print KOTUR clutch and RUTHIE DAVIS sandals. A high ponytail topped off her look. 

Rowan Blanchard always gets it right as she looked great as well in head to toe GIAMBATTISTA VALLI which featured a mixed media dress and black suede & silver glittery heel sandals. Center part waves completed her look.

Nicole Miller Spring 2015

Along with the clothing, I loved the shoes at the NICOLE MILLER SPRING 2015 runway show. Models strutted down a black & white wavy print runway which also popped up in the collection. Nicole was inspired by her trips to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil which showed. The collection was heavily printed as all of her collections but they worked. I loved the fun, flirty skirts with subtle ruffle hems and if you are thinking about putting away your crop top, I would hold off on that. However as cute as the skirts were, I loved the white anorak jacket which was styled with a printed dress and a black & white wave print trench that is a must-have. Nicole Miller Fall 2014

A 'Female Warrior' is what NICOLE MILLER said her FALL 2014 collection was about. A tough, care-free women who also knows what she wants. A printed dress with feather panels got toughen up with a red leather jacket which was one of my favorites. 

You could definitely see where Miller was going with this collection by of her use of leather and studs which added the toughness to the collection. Peacock feathers, fur and neoprene fabrics were also used throughout. I loved the boots the models wore as well, they were classic everyday styles. Check out the entire collection on Style.com.

Nicole Miller Spring 2014

For Spring 2014, NICOLE MILLER mixed together florals, shattered glass & chandeliers details and stripes. She also played around with different textures and  heavy embellishments that didn't overshadow but were done in the right amounts. 

Her use of mixed prints were done perfectly which is why Solange Knowles came to mind when I saw them. This is a style that she does very well. Along with the feminine pieces, came the tough, edgy looks like the distressed & slashed pants with frayed edges.

Peplum details were also done and I loved how the girly dresses were toughen up with moto jackets. Overall the collection was feminine but with a little rebellion. To see the full collection, click here.

Show Review: Nicole Miller Fall 2013

 

For Fall 2013, NICOLE MILLER gave us masculine inspired looks for the girl that likes rummaging through her boyfriends closet.

 

Updated feminine looks inspired by the traditional men's pieces like the blazer and button down shirts styled with skinnies & pencil skirts which was topped off with fedora's in some cases.

 

She also did print on print looks along with lots of charcoal and black hues. My favorite piece was the down printed jacket and the tuxedo inspired looks that came out towards the end of the show. Nicole did spice things up by adding bodycon dresses to the collection.

 

Overall, this collection is for that girl that can wear her boyfriends clothing and add her own feminine and sultry appeal to it.

Nicole Miller Spring/Summer 2013

 

 So I attended the NICOLE MILLER SPRING/SUMMER 2013 runway show as part of New York Fashion Week on yesterday. For spring 2013, Nicole took us back to the 80's in which she was inspired by. You can tell the designer was all about creating fun with the digital and galactic prints that were featured in the collection. She played around with color and different textures. The tops with the peplum detail were my favorites along with the biker jackets and playful leggings. Overall, the collection had some updated styles for woman who just want to have fun and look good. Nicole Miller Fall/Winter 2012

I attended NICOLE MILLER'S FALL/WINTER 2012 runway show and she took us on a ride back to the hippie days that was also vintage inspired. Florals, digital prints, suede, velvet, patchwork leather, fur and fringe were used in different ways in the collection. Bell bottoms, A-line skirts, flirty frocks and bell sleeves were very refined with a classic finish. Nicole gave us an updated look of the bohemian era  by interjecting it with a modern touch. The accessories also added flare to the collection by way of the floppy hats, colorful glasses and the patchwork bags. Overall, loved the collection and dying to get my hands on the floral pencil skirt(shown above). What do you think of the collection?
