14th Governors Awards

Following her attendance at the NBR awards, Michelle Yeoh and more attended the Golden Globes awards which returned yesterday evening(January 10th). The 80th annual awards show took place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Yesterday evening(December 12th) in New York, a few celebs hit the red carpet for the 15th Annual CNN Heroes-All-Star Tribute at the American Museum of Natural History.

Rachel Zegler posed in a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2022 gold embellished and nude tulle floor length dress, with flare sleeves and a short train in the back. The dress has a grecian like feel to it and she looks so pretty but the earrings should have been gold. I really like how the model looks in it.

2021 LACMA: Art and Film Gala

On Saturday(November 6th) the 2021 LACMA Art+Film Gala which was presented by Gucci, took place at the LACMA in LA. Most of the guests were wearing GUCCI unless otherwise stated. 

Elle Fanning was easily one of my top favorites in this sheer black, silk-chiffon gown. The flower detail on the neckline and the lip color is what added edge to her sexy look. 

Jodie Turner-Smith wore a pink and silver crystal beaded dress with padded shoulders and cutout feather sleeves. I wish the shoulders pads and the corset underlining were the same color as the dress. Also the makeup is not good.

Yesterday evening(September 19th) the 73rd Emmy awards took place in LA and while some celebs showed off their looks on instagram,  they also made their way to the red carpet. Traji P. Henson sparkled beautifully in a ELIE SAAB RESORT 2022 sheer black sequin dress which was accessorized with ROBERTO COIN jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals. The neckline looks too long and wide on Taraji but other than that, she looked beautiful.

The 32nd GLAAD Media Awards took place yesterday evening(April 9th) with Niecy Nash as the host. The event was shown on Hulu in a virtual format like previous awards shows. 

Niecy Nash hosted wearing a custom MICHAEL COSTELLO red beaded gown which was layered for coverage, with a contrasting waistband that nipped the waist. There is a lot of fabric at the hem but she looks so gorgeous.

D'Arcy Carden and Shahadi Wright-Joseph made their way to the blue carpet this evening(January 12th) wearing TADASHI SHOJI RESORT 2020 for the 25th Annual Critics Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.

D'Arcy Carden was all smiles wearing a white and red polka dot off-the-shoulder, silk-chiffon gown with draped sleeves. Love the gown but I find that it sits a little too low on the bust. Other than that, this is a great look. A matching colored lip, a coordinating JUDITH LEIBER clutch and side parted tresses rounded out her look.
