Following the Globes, the Greta Lee, Margot Robbie, Angela Bassett, Fantasia Barrina, Lily Gladstone and many more made their way to the black carpet for the 14th annual Governors Awards which was held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in LA on Tuesday(January 10th). Click HERE to see the men's looks.
Angela Bassett received an honorary award wearing a DOLCE & GABBANA nude embellished gown. Another gorgeous look for this queen.
Fantasia Barrino wore a custom RONNY KOBO strapless two-tone, peplum gown and this is way better than her Globes look.
Greta Lee wore a BOTTEGA VENETA SPRING 2024 vibrant red dress and she looked great. Her beauty look was kept simple which allowed nothing to compete with her dress. This was such a great color.
Marlee Matlin wore a MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2022 pink tie-neck dress. Marlee looked pretty but the hairstyle doesn't work for me.
Ayo Edebiri wore a PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2024 and while the color and her magenta lip looked great on her, I can't say that I am loving the dress.
Emerald Fennell and Rita Wilson wore dressed by JENNY PACKHAM. Emerald looked gorgeous wearing a crystal embellished, cape dress and thanks to the red hue, Rita stood out a sequin embellished dress.
Olivia Rodrigo dipped into the YSL archives for this SAINT LAURENT 1997 black strapless dress. The styling here is a snooze. If she kept the gloves and added some jewelry, this would have been a win.
Rosamund Pike wore a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2024 floral rosette, bustier gown. This was the great look for her but I wish that it was a bit more snatched at the waist.
Emma Stone thankfully ditched wearing LV for a FENDI FALL 2023 COUTURE pink beaded off-the-shoulder two-piece ensemble. I actually like this on her but I wish a necklace was added. Also, I'm not feeling the pumps.
Shailene Woodley wore a CAROLINA HERRERA PRE-FALL 2024 green two-tone gown. I wish that the skirt had more volume.
Taraji P. Henson looked stunning in a custom VALDRIN SAHITI black velvet strapless, column dress with beaded flower appliqué down one side.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph looked beautiful wearing a custom TONY WARD COUTURE red off-the-shoulder gown.
Lily Gladstone wore a HUISHAN ZHANG SPRING 2024 black blazer which was adorned with an embellished flower brooch and an embroidered skirt. I feel like a shorter version of the jacket would have done her justice.
Eva Longoria kept it simple but sparkly in a yellow sequin halter dress. Her custom SOPHIE COUTURE dress was adorned with a necklace which complimented the halter neckline.
Tracee Ellis Ross wore a CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS RESORT 2024 black three-quarter sleeve knit top and black silk faille, draped skirt. For me, I would liked to see the waist belted or the skirt paired with a different top. Overall, this is just okay for me.
Niecy Nash looked so gorgeous wearing a custom CHRISTIAN SIRIANO peach headed gown with a flowing silk-chiffon cape in the back.
Olivia Munn wore a MATICEVSKI top and the matching floor length skirt. The piece draping on the back of the top looks like an unnecessary tail. The fabric overall doesn't help to sell her look.
Claire Foy wore a sparkly custom RODARTE silver sequin dress that sat off-the-shoulders, with contrasting white ruffle tier sleeves.
Natalie Portman looked pretty wearing a SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2023 black cutout, halter dress. I'm not sold on the cutout top but she is selling it.
America Ferrera wore a classic MOSCHINO tuxedo and although it's giving waiter vibes, I like it.
Emily Blunt wore a custom dress by MIU MIU. I wish the embellished detail didn't come across the bust but the detail was definitely needed to keep her black dress interesting.
Cillian Murphy wore a SAINT LAURENT suit and I kinda wish the pants were stripe also.
