79th Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony & 'The Electric Venus' Premiere

Following the jury photocall, Demi Moore, Ruth Negga, Chloe Zhao, Laura Wandel and more hit the red carpet for the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and ''The Electric Venus''( La Vénus Electrique ) screening which was held at the Palais des Festivals on this evening(May 12th) in Cannes, France. 

Demi Moore came through sparkling in a custom JACQUEMUS FALL 2026 white strapless sequin gown with a peplum detail. I like this gown, but the hair that doesn't compliment the tone of it, and I wish the eyes were a little softer. Also, I feel like she needs some color here, maybe a necklace with colored stones. 

Ruth Negga wore a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR green and black fringe lace dress with RENE CAOVILLA sandals. The silver platform sandals are not visible here, but I don't think they were a great choice. A simple black sandal would have been ideal. Also, it kinda looks like she is wearing a fancy night gown. It feels like it shouldn't work, but it kinda does. Overall, it's not my favorite but I don't hate it.

Michelle Yeoh returned to the red carpet for three different appearances during the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany.

Look 1:

For the 'No Good Men" premiere on Thursday(February 12th), she wore an embellished strapless pleated gown with a diamond choker, and bracelet and a RICHARD MILLE watch. For me, the jewelry doesn't compliment the gown. Also, I'm not loving the color on her and it's an inch or two too long.

On Friday(November 28th) Jenna Ortega, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jodie Foster hit the red carpet for the 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival opening ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco. 

Jenna Ortega who is on hand as one of the juror members, wore a BEVZA SPRING 2026 black halter dress with a structured, nipped waist detail. In the look book, the neckline was shown closed, but I prefer how it's opened on Jenna's dress. Her look is dark and simple, but with an elegant appeal.

Following the photocall, Anna Ferezetti and more hit the red carpet for the premiere of ''La Grazia'' during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy. 

Cate Blanchett rewears a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE black embellished gown and she looked beautiful of course. It's a clean monochrome look but with impact. 

Tilda Swinton stood out beautifully wearing a two-tone CHANEL COUTURE gown. There's nothing that I would change or add about her look.

On hand as the jury president, Diane Kruger hit the blue carpet for the 18th Angouleme French-Speaking Film Festival opening ceremony on Monday(August 25th) in Angouleme, France.

Whether she is styling herself or not, Diane tends to serve us with some great looks because she knows how to pick pieces that standout. However, on this occasion, I do have some quibbles about her look. 

This DEL CORE SPRING 2025 grey mini dress is cute but I feel like it looses it charming, edge with the dress pulled higher on the shoulders. I prefer how the dress sits lower along with the knot detail.

The knots are distracting, but it works better on the model. Also, I really dislike the white pumps. They look so long. What do you think of Diane's look?

Zoe Saldana in Saint Laurent at the 10th Filming Italy Los Angeles Festival Opening Night

Following her attendance at the BAFTA's, Zoe Saldana hit the red carpet for the 10th annual Filming Italy Los Angeles Festival which was held at the Directors Guild of America on Wednesday(February 19th) in LA.

As a brand ambassador for SAINT LAURENT, it is no surprise that Zoe wore a look from the fashion house which she has been doing a lot of. Her black ensemble featured a sheer silk muslin crepe blouse and bootcut trousers. 

This is a chic, business look which was perfect for the occasion. I kinda wish that she wore a belt, but it doesn't hurt her look without one. However, my only quibble is the top that she wore under her blouse for coverage. 

The length is awkward, so I feel she should have gone with either a bra top or a cami in a longer length. Nonetheless, this still was a great. What do you think of Zoe's all black ensemble?

Fan Bingbing & Tilda Swinton at the 75th Berlin Int'l Film Festival Opening Ceremony & ''Das Licht'' Premiere

Fan Bingbing and Tilda Swinton hit the red carpet for the ''Das Licht'' premiere and the opening ceremony for the 75th Berlinale International Film Festival at Berlinale Palast on Thursday(February 13th) in Berlin, Germany.

Fan Bingbing wore a custom CHRISTOPHER BU white one long sleeve gown and gloves. I think the gown would have been better without that half collar detail and the extra draping on the skirt. Quibbles aside, she looked pretty. 

Tilda Swinton opted for a CHANEL COUTURE black tweed, ruffle coat dress. This is a piece that I would love to hate, but I don't because it's Tilda. This wouldn't have worked on one else. It's not the best design, but she sells it.

21st Marrakech International Film Festival Opening Ceremony & ''The Order'' Screening

On Friday(November 29th) the screening of ''The Order'' was held during the opening ceremony of 21st Marrakech International Film Festival in Marrakech, Morocco.

Virginie Efira wore a SAINT LAURENT black floor length dress with a lace panel back. Although, I would have liked to see her with a colored lip and/or some sparkly jewelry, this still was a pretty look. 

Monica Bellucci wore a look by CHRISTIAN DIOR. The dress is predictable because it's a look that she wears all the time. However, it's bugging me that the black overlay of the cape is a different shade and texture of her dress. It kinda throws her look off.

Gal Gadot at the 36th Israel Film Festival Opening Night

On Wednesday(November 13th) Gal Gadot hit the red carpet at the 36th Israel Film Festival for the opening night and the premiere of Tom Nesher’s ‘Come Closer’ which was held at the Saban Theatre in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a nude blazer with a nude strapless top and sheer ribbed skirt underneath. She accessorized her ensemble with a TIFFANY & CO necklace and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI heels.  

I kinda wish she wore a burgundy heel with this, but she still looked great. Gal also made a statement for her appearance, wearing a yellow ribbon pin to advocate for the safe return of the hostages being held by Hamas.

Continuing on the promo tour, Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez attended another premiere for Netflix ''Emilia Perez'' which was held during the 28th The French American Film Festival opening night at the DGA Theater Complex on Tuesday(October 29th) in LA.

Zoe Saldana looked great wearing SAINT LAURENT all black separates from the SPRING 2025 collection. Her all black ensemble was accessorized with MERENOR jewelry and a red pout provided a pop of color. 

Selena Gomez was also in all black, wearing a CAROLINA HERRERA black long sleeve dress which stopped just below her knees, and featured an asymmetrical neckline. It's a simple but sultry look that she pulled off.

Saoirse Ronan has been doing a lot of press lately and this time, she attended the world premiere for ''Blitz'' and the opening ceremony for the 68th BFI London Film Festival which was held at The Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday(October 9th) in London. 

When it comes to the designer pieces that she wears, she may step outside of her LOUIS VUITTON brand ambassador role like she did with her previous look. However, on this occasion, she stepped back in and chose a custom dress from the fashion house.

Her white sleeveless, column dress featured a mock neckline with a coordinating crisscross belt that added a cool, edgy finish. I love how simple, but impactful this look is. Her beauty look was clean, with a slick back up-do and a natural rosy lip to complement her dress. I like how no jewelry was added because the ''less is more'' approach worked in her favor.

Maybe if this was in a dark hue, it would probably work better. Also, the head styling doesn't compliment it. I know this is Javier moment and not hers, but still she could have given something better than this. 

Javier Bardem kept it simple in a classic, double breasted suit. A brooch or a pocket square and hemmed pants could have made this a better look.

On the runway, the gown was shown in black but Cate's version has more impact. I don't mind the LOUIS VUITTON necklace which she has worn before because it plays off of the gown.

Following her attendance at a photocall and the jury photocall, Meryl Streep, Greta Gerwig, Eva Green, Lily Gladstone and more hit the red carpet for the 77th Cannes Film Festival 'The Second Act' premiere and opening ceremony which was held this evening(May 14th) in France. 

Juliette Binoche was in tune with the carpet, wearing a red off-the-shoulder CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE gown and I can't say that I am loving this. I think it's more so the fabric. Also, I am having a hard time getting onboard with the wet hair trend. It doesn't work here. 

Greta Gerwig came through sparkling in a plum SAINT LAURENT sequin, center front split dress. I actually like this, especially the color. It's a simple but sexy look. I just wish a necklace was added.

Meryl Streep made her way to Cannes, France for the 77th Cannes Film Festival which kicked off today(May 14th) with her being honored with an award. =

Look 1:

For the Honorary Palme d'Or photocall which was held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Meryl looked chic wearing a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION white suit with a stripe. LILYSILK shirt underneath. I love everything about her look here. it was definitely a great way to kick things off. A GIGI BURIS hat, PRADA sunglass, ZAMEER KASSAM jewelry and JIMMY CHOO pumps finished up her look. 

Look 2:

For the opening ceremony, she changed into a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE dress which was accessorized with FRED LEIGHTON jewelry and a BELLA ROSA clutch. I feel like she needed a statement jewelry piece here. It's not a wow moment, but it's definitely not a bad look.

On Friday(March 15th) Berenice Bejo hit the purple for the 2024 Series Mania Festival opening ceremony and the Netflix premiere of ''3 Body Problem'' in Lille, France.

Making somewhat of a shiny entrance, she wore a GIORGIO ARMANI fluid armure lurex top with the matching high-waisted, cuffed trousers. Given the tone of this festival, her shiny lurex ensemble worked. In the look book, it was shown with a statement buckle belt which I kinda miss, but it doesn't hurt her look without it. 

What's unfortunate about her look, are those creases which clearly she got from sitting. Also, I kinda wish that she wore colored ankle strap sandals, but I either way, I am still onboard with her look which was topped off with TASAKI jewelry.

Today(February 15th) in Berlin, Germany, Lupita Nyong'o attended the 74th Berlin International Film Festival jury photocall and the opening ceremony along with the ‘Small Things Like These’ premiere. Lupita has been tapped to be on the jury for the festival this year. 

Look 1:

For the jury photocall, she wore a BOSS suit. I dislike the fit of those pants on her and the shoes doesn't work for me. The head styling is perfection. 

Look 2:

For the premiere, she slipped into a white GUCCI cutout, embellished strap gown which was dressed up with DE BEERS jewelry. I'm not 100% sold on the design of the top, but boy does she make it look good.
