Kerry Washington in Oscar de la Renta at 'The Whoopi Monologues' New York Opening Night

On Monday(July 13th) Kerry Washington hit the red carpet for the opening night of ''The Whoopi Monologues'' which was held at the Lincoln Center's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater in New York City.

The actress shined beautifully in a gold strapless embroidered ankle length dress from the OSCAR DE LA RENTA FALL 2026 collection. The fit was perfect but this length is tricky which makes those gold metallic pumps an odd choice with this dress. 

Sure it matches but given the length of the dress, I feel like an open toe heel would have been a better shoe choice. If it were above her ankles, maybe calf length, the pumps would have worked for me. DAVID WEBB jewelry completed her look.

On Wednesday(March 4th) the cast of ''The Madison'' hit the carpet for the series premiere which was held at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.

Michelle Pfeiffer wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2026 black pearl embellished dress that stopped just above her ankles. Her look definitely has potential if it was accessorized better. I don't mind the pumps, but those should have never been an option with this dress. Also, an off-the-shoulder hairstyle would have been better.

She is definitely serving old Hollywood glamour, but I feel like the gloves weren't needed. Also, flowing, off-the-shoulder tresses would have been ideal because the hair is slightly matronly.

I thought this OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2025 brown peplum crochet dress is cute. I feel like some jewelry is missing here which could have easily liven up this look. 

Gold was have been the perfect accent to make her look standout which is why I am confused about the shade of JIMMY CHOO pumps that she is wearing. 

They just don't work for me. Also, I wish the underlining was brown as well. Quibbles aside, this wasn't a bad look. What do you think of Zoey's look?

Katy Perry hit the red carpet on Thursday(April 25th) for the 35th annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta fashion show which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Wearing OSCAR DE LA RENTA of course, she wore a PRE-FALL 2024 white lace halter with the matching midi skirt. This could have been cute, but unfortunately that top doesn't fit properly. 

I think it's the design. Maybe if this was a one-piece instead of a two-piece, the top would have probably worked. Also, I feel like some bracelets were needed. What do you think of Katy's look?

Selena's style hasn't always hit the mark, but I thought that she looked great on this occasion. She showed off her décolletage in a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA SPRING 2024 off-the-shoulder dress which was accessorized with PASQUALE BRUNI jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN heels. 

However, if I had to nitpick here, it would be about the length of the dress. I think if the dress stopped just about the knee, it would have looked a bit more youthful on her. Also, I wish that the dress was a bit more tailored on her. It's still not a bad look though. What do you think?
