Dockers Spring / Summer 2012 Press Preview and Cocktail Party

Last night I attended the press preview and cocktail party for the DOCKERS SPRING/SUMMER 2012 men's and women's collection. Models stood on platforms as guest walked around viewing the collection while sipping on cocktails and small bites. Quest Love stepped in to DJ at the event. The collection of course featured the brands signature khakis along with bomber jackets and button down shirts. Pants and shorts were cuffed and tops were relaxed.

The women's look were very masculine but still girly. Some of the men's looks were even layered with shorts but there was a chunky sweater featured in the collection that I think was a bit to warm for spring. Overall though the collection was true to the brand's style, classic and cool.

UniQlo Flagship Store Opening on 5th Ave.

Last night I was able to attend the opening for the UNIQLO Flagship Store on 5th avenue. As we walked in, we were greeted by associates and I must say, the structure of the store is amazing. Guest sipped on wine, Saki and light bites as we browsed this huge store. Guest were also treated to an hot performance from Sharon Jones and Susan Sarandon was also in attendance for the celebration. The store is absolutely gorgeous and it sits on 89,000 square foot of space. The store has three levels and each level is brightly lit with tons of space and merchandise available for fashionista's to shop. The store opens to the public today October 14th and the denim will be specially priced at $9.99 until October 30th to celebrate the grand opening. Uniqlo will also be opening in Herald Square along with stores in Chicago and LA. Uniqlo is looking to open 200 stores across the US and compete with their rivals, H&M and Zara. I am a big fan of all three chains and I think they cater to different consumers so I believe they will survive. Continue below to see more images of the store.

Wacoal Cocktail and Fitting Event

So recently I had the opportunity to attend a cocktail and fitting event for WACOAL FALL 2011 collection and I became a huge fan of their bras. Every other women in America is presently walking around in bra that is the wrong fit. Wacoal's team personally fit each person in a bra that was fitting for their bust size. I knew my bra size but if you are anything like me, then you know I was wearing the wrong size however I made it work for me. Wacoal's Fall collection comes in an array styles like the Feather Embroidery Full Coverage Underwire bra that provides a great shape and adjusts to your body for a perfect fit and the Opulence Underwire Average Bra in a sexy lace applique with a low center that offers support along with comfort and a coordinating bikini panty. For me, I walked away with the Petite Embrace Lace Push-up bra. This bra was fitted on me and I have to say that I really love it. Below is the image of the bra and how it looks on me.

The push-up cups gives you a beautiful and clean lift with adjustable straps that has a smooth and flattering finish. The embroidered lace on wings detail that's around the back, side and center front of the bra, offers up a nice, sexy look. I never knew bras came in a "petite" fit so that really intrigued me. So if you are small in the bust area like me, then this is the perfect bra for you. One thing that I learned from the team at Wacoal is that your body porportion determines how the bra will sit on you. This is why we have to make sure that we are getting the right bra size and style. Also If you are a fashionista who likes to look, feel and be sexy in a fabulous bra, then you should check out b'tempt'd bras by WACOAL. This is a flirty collection for women who wants to feel young. Maliboom Boom Station Invasion Concert Tour With Malibu Rum Featuring Ciara

Last night the Maliboom Boom Station Invasion Tour touched down in NY and it was more than a good time. Everyone flocked to Southstreet Seaport at Pier 17 to enjoy signature cocktails by Malibu Rum and DJ Skribbles provided the music that had everyone partying hard. Ciara took the stage and gave an amazing performance. This was my first time seeing CiCi perform live and I must say, the girl killed it. She performed a number of her hits like "Goodies, Ride, Love Sex Magic, Oh, Like a Boy and more. Even though it was long wait for her to hit the stage, it was worth it.

Also Ciara hit the white carpet at the event last night ripping from the runway a black cut-out CHRISTOPHER KANE FALL 2011 dress that was altered from the runway version. The black CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN "Daffodil" platforms and curly locks completed her sultry look. There is no denying that CiCi has an amazing body and I am glad that she is not afraid to show it off. The only thing I would have added to her look, is color but she does look great. Continue to see more images from the event...

Forever 21 Fall 2011 Preview

Last night Forever 21 held a press preview at Skyline in NYC to showcase some of their fall 2011 collection. Guests sipped on cocktails and treats as we browsed the different themes of the collection. Think bohemian, hippie, biker chic mixed with a trendy fashionista. The collection had something for everyone with a lot of pieces that you can definitely mix and match. What I love about Forever 21 are their jewelry pieces but their were some cute lace up booties and platforms in the collection that stood out to me. Continue to see more from the collection.
