Renee Zellweger in Pierre Balmain Couture at the ''Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy'' London Premiere

Following the Paris premiere, Renee Zellweger was back on the carpet for another premiere of ''Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy'' which was held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square this evening(January 29th) in London.

Renee went the vintage route, opting for a bold fuchsia satin column dress, with a train in the back from the PIERRE BALMAIN FALL 2000 COUTURE collection. The color was impactful and made her stand out here. 

She get's a plus for not having creases, but I still don't like the fabric and I'm not sold on her overall look. Even with the color, this still comes off as boring. She definitely needed a better hairstyle and a diamond necklace and bracelet, instead of her go to one ring on the right finger. 

Also, I get the idea behind the shoe choice, but end results is not working in her favor. In my opinion, this is only memorable because of the color. Did Renee sell you on her look?

Pierre Balmain Spring/Summer 2013

 

PIERRE BALMAIN is the sister line to BALMAIN and the line is just as amazing as it's counterpart. I was invited to preview the 'Digital Fashion Show' this week during NYFW. For Spring/Summer 2013, the collection featured peplum details, tapered pants, florals, plaids, denim, perforated styles and motorcycles jackets( the red leather was my favorite). You can see the difference between the two lines which to me is a good thing. A lot of brands tend to do a sister line which ends up looking the same. This is not the case here. The Balmain collection is more edgier with a rocker chic tone while this line is a bit tamer with a twist. Different designers design this collection which is noticeable but not a bad thing. Overall, the Pierre Balmain collection is on the road to developing it's own personality and has definitely sparked my interest to see and want more. To view the whole collection, go to Style.com.
