35th LA GLAAD Media Awards

On Thursday(March 14th) the 35th annual LA GLAAD Media Awards LA was held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Niecy Nash and Oprah Winfrey were honored at this event.

Sharon Stone wore a custom RAMI AL ALI FALL 2022 COUTURE feather embroidered cape paired with black satin trousers. I prefer the cape in the runway's pink, but the white suit Sharon better. Overall, I thought she looked great.

Helen Mirren in Rami Al Ali Couture at the 'Isle of Dogs' 68th Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere

Following her attendance at the Winchester Italy premiere dinner, Helen Mirren jetted off to Berlin, Germany to attend the 'Isle of Dogs' premiere & opening ceremony during 68th Berlinale Film Festival this evening(February 15th). 

She hit the red carpet wearing go to designer go the moment, RAMI AL ALI. Her grey semi-sheer long sleeve embellished tea length, layered dress was slightly altered from the runway version. 

Helen's version featured a off-the-shoulder v-neck which I prefer for the veteran actress. A JIMMY CHOO beaded clutch, BADGLEY MISCHKA pumps and a red lip finished up her look. Which neckline do you prefer, Helen's or the runway's?

'Black Panther' London Premiere Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(February 8th) Disney and Marvel's 'Black Panther' premiere took place at the Hammersmith Apollo theater in London. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Letitia Wright wore a RAMI AL ALI FALL 2017 gold strapless dress which stopped just below her knees and featured a colorful jewel & gold embellished bodice. Minimal make-up and red sandals finished up her great look. 

Leona Lewis wore one of my top favorite couture designers, STEPHANE ROLLAND. Her SPRING 2018 COUTURE black gown featured a dramatic, structured cape detail in the back and a gold leaf embellished detail on the dress. I am pretty sure this was hard to sit down in. Love the drama but I can't say that she has the edge to completely sell this look to me. 

Florence Kasumba wore a JENNY PACKMAN SPRING 2017 sheer tulle & colorful embellished layered dress with long split sleeves. Florence is beautiful but I am a bit thrown off with the sheer panel at the bottom. She finished up with LOUBOUTIN sandals, diamond earrings and a flawless beauty look.

Betty Gabriel was a presenter on Saturday(January 3rd) during the 70th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

The 'Get Out' actress turned to RAMI AL ALI wearing a FALL 2017 short sleeve salmon colored gown with contrasting gold embellishments, a cutout back and a train detail. 

Love the color on her but the gown itself is more suited for someone on the taller side. Also the gold hoops are cut but not with this gown. Did Betty sell you on this look?

Carey Mulligan, Mary J. Blige & Molly Sims at the 'Mudbound' AFI Fest LA Premiere

Continuing on the promo tour, Carey Mulligan & Mary J. Blige along with Molly Sims attended the premiere of 'Mudbound' during the AFI FEST yesterday(November 9th) in LA. 

Carey Mulligan wore a PREEN BY THORN TON BREGAZZI SPRIGN 2018 black ruffle tulle, semi-sheer ankle length dress. I feel like the dress made more of an impact on the runway. However Carey does look great and I like her beauty look. 

Mary J. Blige stepped out in a RAMI AL ALI FALL 2016 COUTURE grey long sleeve layered tulle embellished gown with a cutout back and train detail. Instead of adding a colored lip, she went with a smokey eye which was offset with a nude glossy lip. Side swept tresses finished up her look. 

Molly Sims wore a LUISA BECCARIA FALL 2016 COUTURE sheer gold beaded, embroidered lace cocktail dress with asymmetrical sleeves. For coverage, she wore a FLEUR DU MAL black bodysuit underneath. I can't say that I am loving the bodysuit underneath, I think it's the color. Something on the matchy side would have been ideal. A LEE SAVAGE clutch, SARA WEINSTOCK rings and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals finished up her look.

2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 1

On Saturday(September 9th) the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards - Day 1 took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. 

Julianne Hough wore a RAMI AL ALI SPRING 2016 COUTURE pink strapless floor length dress with an asymmetrical, pleated top. For an added pop of color, she accessorized with DVANI burgundy stone jewelry and a burgundy velvet JIMMY CHOO clutch. Smokey eyes offset with a matte pink lip and side swept, light waves finished up her look. 

Common walked away a winner wearing a VALENTINO two-piece suit styled with a white button down shirt, a navy tie, shiny dress shoes and a FRED LEIGHTON brooch. 

Jenna Dewan wore a navy CAROLINA HERRERA FALL 2017 floor length dress with a pleated organza & sequin v-neck top and a layered tulle skirt. A side parted up-do and navy smokey eyes finished up her look.
