Instagram Style: Jennifer Hudson in Reem Acra Performing on the 2020 BET Awards

The 2020 BET Awards was held virtually yesterday evening, with celebs presenting and performing remotely. Jennifer Hudson was one of the performers of the night and she posted her performance look to her instagram page. 

She posed for the gram wearing a REEM ACRA FALL 2020 green velvet one shoulder kaftan-style dress with an embellished neckline. To make her look unique, a black fishnet sleeve panel was added to her gown. 

A flawless beauty look put the finishing touches on her performance look. JHud's performance was an inside look to her upcoming film 'Respect' in which she is starring as the iconic Aretha Franklin. What to you think of JHud's instagram style?

'CATS' NY World Premiere

The world premiere of 'CATS' took place last night(December 16th), which was held at Lincoln Center in New York.

Taylor Swift wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2020 strapless appliqué ruby floral fil coupé satin gown with side pockets which she utilized. This gown comes off as upholstery fabric and the reverse panel isn't helping. Also I want to take a scissors so that I can clip that leaf panel on the neckline of the bodice. However this is not a bad look but I can't say that it's the best for me. If you remember, Renee Zellweger wore a dress in this same fabric but in a different silhouette in September 2019.

Cobie Smulders in Solace London & Reem Acra for the 2019 ABC Summer TCA Tour

Yesterday(August 5th) Cobie Smulders attended the 2019 ABC Summer TCA Tour press panel for 'Stumptown' and party in West Hollywood, CA.

For the press panel, she wore a lemon yellow SOLACE LONDON PRE-FALL 2019 ruffle one-shoulder dress, which stopped just above her ankles. The dress featured circle cutouts and a peplum waist. I would have love to see Cobie in the look book's shoes but instead she opted for white SCHUTZ sandals which worked as well.

Elle Fanning was on hand during the festival as a juror member and she delivered some great looks but this REEM ACRA FALL 2019 BRIDAL piece is one of my top favorites. Her white crystal embellished strapless lace & tulle gown, was paired with a tulle and crystal cape. The beautiful CHOPARD blue stone earrings and slick pulled up-do, complimented her elegant look.

Bryce Dallas Howard in Ralph Lauren & Gucci at the 'Rocket Man' 72nd Cannes Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Bryce Dallas Howard is in Cannes, France to promote 'Rocket Man' and today she attended the photocall and premiere during the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. She posted both of her looks to her instagram page.

Look 1 Photocall:
She wore a purple suede RALPH LAUREN shirt dress which she posted to her instagram page. Her dress was accessorized perfectly with yellow SMOKE X MIRRORS sunglasses and color-block MANOLO BLAHNIK sling blacks. 

Look 2 Premiere:

She wore a black, orange & white printed floor length shirt dress by GUCCI which she nipped the waist with a belt by REEM ACRA. While we may not always see less dramatic looks like this on the red carpet for premieres at the festival, she still looked great. CHOPARD jewelry rounded out her look.

Both of Bryce's looks came from THE REAL REAL and the actress was on a mission to wear previously pieces because of the expensive price tag of clothes that she usually wears once. I like that she keeps it frugal but still simply chic. What do you think of BDH's look?

Beyonce, Jay-Z and more attended the 30th Annual LA GLAAD Media Awards last night(March 28th) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Logan Browning struck a pose wearing PATBO long sleeve blue plush velvet, floor length dress, featuring a pleated plunging neckline and draped pleated waist. A complimentary beauty look and ESTABLISHED jewelry finished up her look.

Olivia Munn wore a custom YANINA COUTURE semi-sheer black peacock, velvet gown. I can't say that I favor this gown on Olivia, it is not that flattering on her. It's the bottom half that's throwing things off but her beauty look is flawless.

This evening(February 20th) in LA, the 2019 VH1 Trailblazer Honors took place at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre. The event will air on television on March 8th.

Rita Ora came through wearing a ASHI SPRING 2019 COUTURE romper, which featured a strapless white & black ruffle feather high-low hem top that flowed into a dramatic train and black velvet shorts. Before her presenting duties, Regina Hall posed on the red carpet last night(January 19th) during the 30th Annual Producers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Making a shiny entrance, she wore a REEM ACRA SPRING 2019 strapless, gold metallic tea-length dress, featuring a bustier top and ruffle hem. 

When wearing strapless dresses, ensuring that it fits properly on the bust is key and that is not the case with Regina. She is so pretty but I prefer the look and fit of the dress on the model more than on her. What do you think of Regina's look?

Judy Greer and Kirby Howell-Baptiste was on the blue carpet this evening(January 13th) for the 24th Annual Critics' Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Both ladies wore REEM ACRA.

Judy Greer went the masculine inspired route for the Globes but on this occasion, she opted for a dress from the designer's PRE-FALL 2019 collection. Her floor sweeping multi-colored embroidered dress featured balloon sleeves and side pockets. I am kinda interested in seeing how this would look if it was belted at the waist. Nonetheless, I love the embroidered fabric and she wear the dress well. IRENE NEUWIRTH earrings, a black clutch and a bold red lip finished up her look.

Along with Jennifer Lopez and Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini and Iskra Lawrence attended the 'Second Act' premiere on Wednesday(December 11th) in New York. 

Leah Remini stepped out in a REEM ACRA SPRING 2019 draped off-white gown, with an embellished, belted waist. Adding some extra sparkle to her look, she accessorized with JACOB & CO jewelry which topped off her look along with a fur stole and crystal embellished clutch.

Iskra Lawrence worked the split on her PRABAL GURUNG SPRING 2018 'Mcewan' green cascading ruffle & floral fil coupe dress which was adorned with a contrasting light blue leather belt. I like the green & light blue combo and how it was styled with the black & white pumps.

Janet Mock was all smiles on the red carpet last night(November 26th) at the 2018 IFP Gotham Awards with FIJI water at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

She was beautiful in a REEM ACRA SPRING 2019 purple lace and tulle mock-neck two-piece set, featuring a ruffle trim sleeve and a pleated floor length skirt. While the bodice wasn't lined in the look book, Janet added nude lining which worked in her favor.

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(November 3rd) the 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Catherine Opie and Guillermo del Toro & presented by Gucci, took place at the LACMA in LA. Dakota Johnson was one of my top favorites, wearing this black long sleeve, center front split cape gown, which featured an embellished neck and a sheer illusion yoke. 

Kiki Layne chose a difficult piece but I have to say, that she has me sold. Her color-block ruffle sequin embellished gown was topped off with a simple but flawless beauty look. My favorite of the night.

Lana Del Ray wore a black silk embellished, center front split dress, featuring a v-neckline and long glove sleeves. The creases are a bit distracting here but given the fabric, it's no surprise that they are there.

Sydney Sweeney hit the carpet for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA this evening(September 17th).

Having somewhat of a princess moment, she wore a REEM ACRA PRE-FALL 2018 pink strapless lace gown, featuring a sweetheart neckline and a beaded waist. 

Love this gown and it was perfect for the Emmy's. However I am not sold on the color for her. A diamond necklace, ALDO heels and a up-do with tendrils finished up her look. Does the color of Sydney's gown work for you?

On yesterday(September 15th) Tatiana Maslany hit the red carpet at the 2018 BAFTA Los Angeles + BBC America TV Tea Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Rocking a cosmic inspired ensemble, she wore a REEM ACRA FALL 2018 green cropped tank and pleated color block skirt, with both adorned with star and planet embellishments.

Awkwafina in Reem Acra at the 'Crazy Rich Asians' LA Premiere

Awkafina made sure she was a standout when she hit the carpet yesterday(August 7th) in LA for the premiere of 'Crazy Rich Asians' at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX. 

Making a dramatic entrance, she wore a pink long sleeve REEM ACRA PRE-FALL 2018 satin gown with a contrasting over-sized red bow in the back. The dress is basic in design but the volume of the skirt & the bow is where the impact comes in.

However while the color looks divine on her, I find the bodice to be a bit too tight. Also I feel this is more suited for someone on the taller side. A colored lip, DAVID WEBB jewelry, a JIMMY CHOO clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look. Did Awkafina sell you on her look?

Yesterday evening(June 28th) Shu Qi hit the red carpet for the Bvlgari dinner & party at Stadio dei Marmi in Rome, Italy. 

The actress/model posed on the red carpet wearing a REEM ACRA SPRING 2018 coral strapless gown with a contrasting gold neckline and a pleated skirt.

Naturally she dressed up her look with jewelry courtesy of Bvlgari which topped off her look along with an complimentary beauty look and a gold clutch. For me, the necklace somewhat clashes with the gold necklace. It's not really working for me. Are you sold on Shu's necklace with this gown?

Storm Reid striked a pose this evening(June 24th) on the white carpet at the  2018 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

The REEM ACRA FALL 2018 has been seen on the red carpet a lot by young starlets and it is no surprise as the collection works perfectly on them. Storm looked great in a tulle layered purple crop top and light blue satin skirt which featured planet embroidered appliqués.  

Storm always does fun braided looks with her hair but I am loving her with these bantu knots which topped off her look along with silver metallic sandals and JENNIFER MEYER earrings.

Awkwafina in Reem Acra at the 'Ocean's 8' New York Premiere

Back on the promo trail, Awkwafina made her way to the black carpet yesterday evening(June 4th) for the 'Ocean's 8' premiere at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York. 

Awkwafina's wore a REEM ACRA RESORT 2018 sheer white silk kaftan inspired jumpsuit which had a bridal feel to it. Although bridal pieces have been on heavy rotation on the carpet.

However I feel like her jumpsuit needed to be shorten an inch or two. Also I wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulder and a colored lip wouldn't have hurt. HUED earrings, a IVY NY ring  and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look. What do you think of Awkwafina's look?
