76th Golden Globes Awards Wrap-up

The  76th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place on January 6th at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Ryan Coogler the director of Black Panther, kept it simple in a black PRADA tuxedo. Hemmed pants and a printed pocket square or bow tie could have made this a better look.

Danai Gurira in all her melanin beauty dazzled in a RODARTE sequin dress, with an bow on the shoulders that flowed into a train.

Michael B. Jordan wore a classic black BURBERRY tuxedo which was accessorized with CARTIER & PIAGET pieces.

Lupita Nyong'o in all her melanin was popping as well wearing a CALVIN KLEIN strapless blue beaded fringe dress. Her beauty look was flawless as usual.

Laura Harrier who also attended the BAFTA Tea Party, went back to wearing LOUIS VUITTON. Her gown featured a black & white embroidered peplum top and a side split, sequin skirt which she teamed with GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI mules.

Thandie Newton who also attended the BAFTA Tea Party, sparkled on a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION silver sequin dress, featuring a crisscross, cutout bodice. Smokey eyes and natural curls rounded out her look.

Judy Greer ditched wearing a dress for a custom ALBERTA FERRETTI black wide-leg tuxedo. This is a little different from her usual style but I like it. However the pants needed to be hemmed.

Julia Roberts was one of my favorites wearing this STELLA MCCARTNEY one-shoulder nude & black skirt jumpsuit. I am loving her new style direction.

Julianne Moore wore a GIVENCHY white crossover halter top, with an oversized bow in the back and a maxi length skirt. I am not liking this, I feel like the top needed to be a bit more tailored. Maybe the top would have looked better with pants.

Rosamund Pike never fails me and the fashion marriage between her and GIVENCHY, is a perfect match. She served up an edgy, sultry look from the fashion house Haute Couture collection.

Allison Janney last year during awards season, was on a fashionable role and she proved that she still got in this CHRISTIAN SIRIANO SPRING 2019 bardot gown. The fit was perfect and the DAVID WEBB jewelry helped to tie everything together.

Elsie Fisher is not letting the power suit die anytime soon, as she worked a custom KENZO belted suit which she teamed with a HUNTING SEASON bag and LONG CHAMP boots.

Saoirse Ronan was a stunning and sexy in a custom GUCCI fringe, chain gown, with a deep v-neck. Given the fashion house style direction the past few years, this something refreshing.

Rachel Brosnahan who also attended the BAFTA Tea Party, wore a bold yellow PRADA gown. The color is the standout here, otherwise this is plain & boring. Also something she's done before.

Dakota Fanning wore a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE white strapless gown which had a bridal feel to it. The red lip and the BELADORA necklace is what keeps this look somewhat interesting.

Regina King who walked away a winner and delivered a powerful speech, sparkled perfectly in a custom ALBERTA FERRETTI column gown.

Elisabeth Moss wore a strapless CHRISTIAN DIOR crossover dress, that button at the waist. I think she needed a more interesting pair of shoes. NEIL LANE jewelry added sparkle to her look.

Charlize Theron worked her statuesque frame in a piece by CHRISTIAN DIOR as well. Her black & white key hole gown was accessorized with BULGARI jewelry.

Yvonne Strahovski wore a custom mint pleated ALBERTA FERRETTI strapless gown which she dressed up with LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry.

Caitriona Balfe who also attended the BAFTA Tea Party, she wore a custom MOSCHINO burgundy velvet strapless dress, featuring side pockets which she utilized and a structured skirt. BELADORA jewelry, a THE ROW bag and JIMMY CHOO pumps finished up her look.

Camilla Belle was on hand to represent Moet, wearing a custom JASON WU gown which was accessorized with MARTIN KATZ jewelry. Camilla looked divine in this gown and while the makeup is pretty, it's a bit much with this gown.

Sandra Oh hosted the show and she posed on the red carpet wearing a VERSACE gown which has to be her best look. Beauty wise, she complimented her gown with a side parted, wavy pinned up-do and a red lip color. Sparkly jewelry rounded out her elegant look.

Jessica Chastain who attended the Golden Brunch before, wore a BURBERRY beaded cape dress which is something different from the fashion house. The gown looks a little too long but she looked lovely.

Nicole Kidman who also attended the Golden Brunch, kept simple & sleek in a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION burgundy sequin dress. Hey sparkly look was accessorized with a MOYNAT bag and HARRY WINSTON jewelry.

Amy Adams did nothing new here. She stuck to her usual boring silhouette wearing courtesy of CALVIN KLEIN.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge also came down the carpet sparkling courtesy of GALVAN. My only issue is that the gown was too long.

Melissa McCarthy wore a purple REEM ACRA FALL 2018 ruffle dress, featuring sequin star embroidery and a matching waist. Love the color but that sash needs to be fixed.

Emma Stone wore a custom nude beaded dress by LOUIS VUITTON of course. Emma looks beautiful but this is just okay for me.
