34th LA GLAAD Media Awards

Yesterday evening(March 30th) the 34th annual LA GLAAD Media Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Zaya Wade is really coming into her own. She looked pretty wearing head to toe MIU MIU. She is somehow making a weirdly designed shorts suit & thong boots work. 

Gabrielle Union is always going to give us a serve and she did just that wearing MOSCHINO RESORT 2023. Love everyone about this.

On Monday(May 2nd) the 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' premiere took place at the El Capitan Theatre in LA.

Elizabeth Olsen suited up in ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER and the crystal embellished buttons kept it interesting. I do think that she needed a necklace but she still looked great. 

Benedict Cumberbatch kept it cool, rocking a light great suit. I don't like the crossover button blazer and I wish the pants had a better fit but it's not a bad look.

Cynthia Erivo and Janelle Monae brought their talents to the red carpet yesterday evening(October 30th) for the premiere of their new film 'Harriet' at The Orpheum Theatre in LA.

Cynthia Erivo dramatically slayed in a playful feather gown, which was nipped at the waist from the MARC JACOBS SPRING 2020 collection. Cynthia has switched stylist I believe for the second or third time this year and it shows. She is working with Jason Bolden(Taraji P. Henson, Storm Reid, Yara Shahidi, Ava DuVernay, Janet Mock, Serena & more) and I hope she stays with him. She finished up with a flawless beauty look in one of her top best looks.

Camila Cabello who walked a winner & performed, wore a GIORGIO ARMANI black beaded corset & trousers which she accessorized with a black clutch & sandals and sparkly jewelry.

Carrie Underwood showed off her baby bump wearing a STEVEN KHALIL black velvet & gold embellished, cold-shoulder gown. Instead of wearing gold strap sandals, she opted for gold pumps. It's a bit different fro her usually frilly looks and she looked great.

Leighton Meester showed a little skin wearing a custom SONIA RYKIEL black & white velvet dress with a crisscross, cutout halter neckline and a embellished waist. A JIMMY CHOO clutch, MESSIKA jewelry and a complimentary beauty look rounder out her look.

Jessica Szohr in Steven Khalil Couture at the 2018 ESPY Awards

It's been a long time since I have seen Jessica Szohr on the red carpet but she stepped out for the 2018 ESPY Awards yesterday evening(July 18th) Microsoft Theater in LA.

I don't recall Jessica having any standout red carpet looks and this will probably fall in that category. Her STEVEN KHALIL FALL 2016 COUTURE navy beaded, side split detail dress was layered over a fit 'n' flare dress on the runaway which I liked. 

Her dress worked for the occasion & I would say that it had potential. But it was that tricky neckline that isn't doing her any favors and needed to be shorten. Also I would swap out those black pumps for a simple ankle strap sandals to elevate the sultry appeal of her look. 

She finished up with a center ponytail and ESTABLISHED, GRAZIELA & SARA WEINSTOCK jewelry. Are you feeling Jessica's look?

Niecy Nash waist was snatched in a pink beaded MACDUGGAL floor length dress with a v-neckline, a cutout back and a thigh high split. KUKKA earrings, a JASON OF BEVERLY HILLS ring, MARCHESA sandals and a complimentary beauty look finished up her look.

Laverne Cox wore a ABYSS BY ABBY sheer sparkly dress with a v-neckline, a thigh high split and a bodysuit underneath for coverage. She looks great but we have seen this look a lot on the carpet. H. STERN jewelry, a L'AFSHAR clutch, STUART WEITZMAN sandals, red lips and center part light waves finished up her look.

Arianna Grande wore a I.D. SARRIERI black lace crop top and ALEXANDER MCQUEEN white trousers. This is cute but I feel when it comes to style, Ariana hasn't hit the mark yet. A sparkly choker, RUTHIE DAVIS platform sandals, a sleek ponytail and a colored lip finished up her look. 

Teyana Taylor served up some serious cleavage wearing a STEVEN KHALIL black off-the-shoulder sheer lace gown. The top is very similar to her recent Soul Train awards dress. She has a great body no doubt but I am not feeling her style. 

Keke Palmer went for a 90's look courtesy of NATALIA FEDNER. Her 100% silver metal crop top & matching skirt was fully lined in copper metal and was teamed with a pink fur coat. I kinda see this look more for the VMA's.

Kat Graham wore a white long sleeve STEVEN KHALIL deep-v gown. For this gown overwhelms her. This is definitely suited for someone much taller. Also the styling is on the boring side, it needed a colored lip or a statement jewelry to liven it up. 

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2016 COUTURE wore a strapless nude beaded jumpsuit overlayed with a tulle net-covered skirt and embroidery with climbing 3D flowers. On the runway, her jumpsuit was adorned with a silver metal belt which I kinda wish she kept. I think I may have liked this if the pants had a tapered leg. 

Milla Jovovich wore a PRADA black v-neck beaded tulle layered gown with an open-back. Beauty wise, she went with a short straight locks and dark eyelashes offset with a colored glossy lip. While her look doesn't excite, she still looks great.
