73rd Emmy Awards Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(September 19th) the 73rd Emmy awards took place in LA and while some celebs showed off their looks on instagram,  they also made their way to the red carpet. Traji P. Henson sparkled beautifully in a ELIE SAAB RESORT 2022 sheer black sequin dress which was accessorized with ROBERTO COIN jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals. The neckline looks too long and wide on Taraji but other than that, she looked beautiful.

Angela Bassett & Susan Kelechi Watson were on hand as presenters yesterday evening(February 28th) for the 78th Virtual Golden Globes awards and they both wore DOLCE & GABBANA. I still find it strange that celebs and stylists are still choosing this brand. 

Angela Bassett wore a purple one-shoulder dress with playful feather panels and a sultry asymmetrical split. She accessorized with GISMONDI 1754 & GRAZIELA GEMS jewelry and a JUDITH LEIBER clutch. Dakota Fanning & Susan Kelechi Watson Announce the 77th Golden Globes Nominations

Yesterday morning(December 9th) Dakota Fanning and Susan Kelechi Watson was on hand to announce the 77th Annual Golden Globes Nominations at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

Dakota Fanning wore a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI FALL 2019 long sleeve orange and cream printed faux wrap with a deep v-neckline and a tie waist. Although it is not visible, the neckline on her dress was lined with a matching lace panel for coverage. I don't really like this color on her but her look in general works for the occasion. 

Susan Kelechi Watson wore ZHIVAGO white long sleeve layered lace, split detail dress with padded shoulders and a deep v-neckline. I wish there were better images of her in this dress because she looked great. Instead of wearing metallic sandals or pumps, she opted for coordinating white pumps. A ponytail and a fuchsia lip put the finishing touches on her look.

On Sunday(November 17th) Susan Kelechi Watson was on the red carpet in New York for the screening of 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood' at the Henry R. Luce Auditorium.

Serving up some leg action in her asymmetrical split dress, she wore a burgundy silk velvet, corset one long sleeve dress which was belted at the waist from the RASARIO PRE-FALL 2019 collection. 

Love the dress but I prefer the styling on the modeling. I like the idea of the pink pumps but I am not totally sold. I think she should have gone with a pink or matching velvet ankle strap sandal. Silver metallic would have worked as well. Her beauty look is flawless though. Does Susan's shoe choice work for you?

Newly engaged Susan Kelechi Watson hit the red carpet yesterday(September 7th) during the 2019 Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood in Toronto, Canada.

If her intent was to standout on the carpet, she did just that wearing this purple CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FALL 2019 ruffle strapless train detail satin top and the matching satin mini skirt. 

On the beauty end, she went with a braided off-the-shoulder hairstyle and smokey eyes which topped off her look along with silver earrings and ankle strap sandals.
