If you follow Emma Roberts on instagram, then you know that one of the things that she loves is reading books. Her brand ''Belletrist'' has teamed up for a Bookclub partnership and yesterday(July 27th) she attended the launch at The Whitby Hotel Reading Room in New York.

Emma posted her look on instagram and she posed for the gram in a CELINE SPRING 2021 ensemble which was accessorized with SYDNEY EVAN jewelry and SAM EDELMAN mules. 

This is a cross between business meets casual with sporty in between. The logo sports bra is not an ideal combination with this jacket style but it does offer a different approach to the trend. Continuing on the promo tour, Elizabeth Banks hit the black carpet at the 'Power Rangers' premiere at the Westwood Village theater yesterday evening(March 22nd) in Westwood, CA.

The actress stood out in a electric blue ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2017 COUTURE beaded v-neck jumpsuit with padded shoulders, bracelet length sleeves, a belted, draped waist and a key hole back. I like the color and the playful appeal of this jumpsuit but I can't get on board with the drape detail on the pants. It's very unflattering.

Also I don't like her shoe choice which are by CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA. I feel like she should have gone with a simple, ankle strap pump similar to the model's pair. ZOE CHICCO & SYDNEY EVAN jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch, a side parted bun and smokey eyes finished up her look. Does Elizabeth's look work for you?

On hand as one of the honorees, Aja Naomi King attended the 10th annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood awards at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel yesterday evening(February 23rd) in Beverly Hills, CA.

Working a revealing look, she wore a MICHAEL COSTELLO FALL 2017 white sheer illusion lace mermaid dress with a turtleneck and long sheer dotted sleeves. Although Aja's dress hit the runway un-lined, she added a nude bodysuit underneath for coverage.

For me, this has a bridal feel to it and it is on the dated side. Also that sheer window bodice isn't flattering on her. She is beautiful but I am not a fan of this. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alison Pill & Jessica Chastain at the 2016 AFI Fest Miss Sloane LA Screening

On Friday(November 11th) Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alison Pill & Jessica Chastain hit the red carpet at the 2016 AFI Fest screening of 'Miss Sloane' at the TCL Chinese Theatres in LA.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw wore a long sleeve sheer white organza ERDEM RESORT 2017 embellished ruffled knee length layered dress with a button neck collar. On this occasion, I don't mind the black suede ankle strap pumps as they worked with this dress. However her look doesn't excite and I am not a fan of the dress in general. Kohl rimmed eyes, a curly up-do and a black clutch finished up her look. 

Alison Pill worked her baby bumps in a black JULIET HOGAN semi-sheer dress which she accessorized with SYDNEY EVAN jewelry, a pewter satin clutch and ALDO shoes. I think a sleeker hairstyle would have complimented her look. 

Jessica Chastain stood out among her cast mates wearing a custom PRADA purple strapless hi lo hem dress with turquoise satin underlining and a deep, bow detail neckline. Instead of wearing a strappy sandal, Jessica opted for matching LOUBOUTIN studded pumps. I don't care for the top of the dress but I love the color combo and this is not a bad look. A sleek, braided hairstyle, a colored lip and PIAGET jewelry finished up her look.
