'A Private Life' 78th Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The 'A Private Life' premiere took place during the 78th Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday(May 20th) in Cannes, France. 

Scartlett Johansson looked pretty in a custom PRADA strapless silk-chiffon gown which was layered for the coverage. The dress is plain no doubt, but the red lip was instrumental in making sure the color doesn't wash her out. If I had to nitpick, it would be about the draped panels on the sides. I don't think they were needed. 

Jodie Foster was serving up 'Princess Leia' realness wearing a custom dress by LOEWE. I do think an up-do was needed, but this was still a great look.

Mariacarla Boscono wore a custom DOLCE & GABBANA red hooded, silk-chiffon corset gown. It's giving ''little red riding hood''.

Jennifer Connelly wore a custom LOUIS VUITTON FALL 2022 off-the-shoulder gown. It's not as fussy as most of her looks are and she looked lovely. I just feel like some jewelry is needed, maybe a necklace or earrings. 

Viola Davis looked so beautiful in the yellow strapless gown by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN. Even though the creases are noticeable, the color, to her beauty look and the statement ring, still makes this is perfect.

The 69th Berlin International Film Festival kicked off today(February 7th) with the opening ceremony, and 'The Kindness of Strangers' premiere at the Berlinale Palace in Berlin, Germany.

Patricia Clarkson wore a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO RESORT 2018 tea length dress which featured a black long sleeve top and a silver fringe, iridescent metallic skirt. The dress appears much shorter on the model due to a height difference but I think the length worked on Patricia. Side parted tresses, a colored lip, statement earrings, a silver clutch and black pumps finished up her look. 

German actress Emilia Schule wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2018 printed with logo straps. We have seen this particular silhouette from the fashion house in many variations including sheer. It has become a signature that is becoming a bit boring. However Emilia looked great for the opening.  

Toni Garrn wore a BOSS white sequin floor gazing dress with a cutout sides and a side split. She dressed up her look with sparkly rings & diamond studs which topped off her look along with silver sandals and a center part up-do.

Last night(October 20th) Kate Bosworth and Toni Garrn hit the red carpet at the 20th Anniversary Of The Hugo Boss Prize at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Both ladies were wearing HUGO BOSS of course. 

Kate Bosworth wore a SPRING 2017 semi-sheer black & mini beaded layered tank dress accessorized with a black clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. This dress with it's flirty mesh cut-outs & beaded details works on Kate. A sleek, side parted bun and a dark red lip finished up her look.

Toni Garrn wore a FALL 2016 black wool blend knee length dress which she styled simply with a black clutch and sandals. This is a basic black dress which is cute but I think with better styling, her look could have been enhanced versus being boring.

Toni Garrn hit the white carpet yesterday evening(August 23rd) in Hamburg, Germany at the  Fashion2Night Event on board of the MS Europa 2.

The model took on the lingerie trend wearing the BROCK COLLECTION RESORT 2016 'Delhi' mustard-yellow, gold & black floral jacquard slip dress.
