'A Private Life' 78th Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The 'A Private Life' premiere took place during the 78th Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday(May 20th) in Cannes, France. 

Scartlett Johansson looked pretty in a custom PRADA strapless silk-chiffon gown which was layered for the coverage. The dress is plain no doubt, but the red lip was instrumental in making sure the color doesn't wash her out. If I had to nitpick, it would be about the draped panels on the sides. I don't think they were needed. 

Jodie Foster was serving up 'Princess Leia' realness wearing a custom dress by LOEWE. I do think an up-do was needed, but this was still a great look. 

Mariska Hargitay wore a GOEORGES HOBEIKA SPRING 2025 COUTURE black one-shoulder dress which featured a contrasting gold & silver sequin panel on one side. She looked lovely, but I feel like an up-do was needed. 

Eva Herzigova could not be missed on the carpet wearing a fuchsia strapless BALENCIAGA COUTURE gown with a back split. The gown was shown in a green in the look book, but I like the vibrant hue that she chose. 

Izabel Goulart looked pretty wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE FALL 2018 COUTURE gold sequin and black velvet cutout dress. 

Toni Garrn struck a pose in a ELIE SAAB COUTURE black beaded & crepe jumpsuit with the matching sheer black beaded cape. I wish there wasn't a cutout on the bodice, but this was still a great look. 

Virginie Efira wore a SAINT LAURENT burgundy silk-chiffon wrap dress with a side thigh-high split. I kinda wish the bow on the side was the same color as the dress. Also, I feel like an off-the-shoulder hairstyle was needed. 

Adrien Brody wore a vintage TRUSSADI classic tuxedo. Surprisedly, Adrien didn't wear a brooch and honestly, I am glad that he left it out because it wasn't needed.
