Instagram Style: Alicia Keys in Yousef AlJasmi for the 2020 Billboard Music Awards

Ahead of her performance tonight(October 14th) on the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, Alicia Keys and her stylist Jason Bolden posted her look to instagram. 

She posed for the gram in a beaded YOUSEF ALJASMI jumpsuit and SANJAY KASLIWAL jewelry which was styled with silver metallic, slingback pumps. Her sparkling jumpsuit was fitting for an occasion like the Billboards and it fit her like a glove.

Fashionista War: Beyonce Vs. Keke Palmer & Kelly Rowland in Yousef Al-Jasmi, Who Wore It Better?

Today we have a battle between three stars who wore the same YOUSEF AL-JASMI beaded dress but at different times and occasions. So let the Fashionista War begin. 

On Saturday night(October 5th) history was made because Tyler Perry opened the first major, black owned studio. Beyonce was on hand for the celebration wearing the yellow Swarovski crystal version of the dress. She topped off her look with ANABELA CHAN earrings, RENE CAOVILLA sandals and a red lip.

However Keke Palmer wore the yellow version first in August 2019 at the MTV VMA's. Her dress was accessorized with DAVID YURMAN jewelry, a JUDITH LEIBER clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI.

Also Kelly Rowland wore it first in pink back in October 2018 at the City of Hope gala. She had her hair pulled off-the-shoulders and she added some extra sparkle courtesy of LORRAINE SCHWARTZ.

Ciara, Ashanti & La La at the VH1 2019 'Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Mom' Gala

Following her attendance at the Billboard awards, Ciara and more attended the VH1 2019 'Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Mom' at the Ace Hotel last night(May 2nd) in LA.

Ciara turned to STEPHANE ROLLAND for the second time in a row, wearing a look from the designer's SPRING 2018 COUTURE collection. Her shorts jumpsuit featured a dramatic white one-shoulder asymmetrical ruffle top that flowed into a train and satin champagne, fold detail shorts. I like the drama and idea of the is look but unfortunately on Ciara and the model, the shorts are very unflattering. A simple, tailored style would have been ideal.

Beyonce and more attended the 2018 City of Hope Gala at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA last night(October 12th).

Tiffany Haddish sparkled in a TADASHI SHOJI FALL 2018 silver sequin gown, featured contrasting black pipping & lace. Love the fit of this gown on her, she looked lovely. However I would change that nude pink lip to red.

3rd Annual Diamond Ball

Yesterday evening(September 14th) Dave Chappelle hosted Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation's third annual Diamond Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. 

Rihanna wore a custom RALPH & RUSSO COUTURE long sleeve black off-the-shoulder dress with a black satin strapless bustier underneath and a hi-lo train detailed skirt. This sorta dark, goth look is a fresh approach for Riri and she sells it. Riri dressed up her look with jewelry from her CHOPARD collection and sheer black tights & black GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. Center part curls and kohl rimmed eyes finished up her look.  

Cardi B served up a Cinderella moment wearing a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO RESORT 2017 mini off-the-shoulder gown. Cardi's style is definitely evolving and her career is on a high thanks to her hit song 'Bodak Yellow'. Statement jewelry and a complimentary beauty look finished up her look.

Ali Larter wore a ZAC POSEN SPRING 2017 strapless printed lattice cut-out dress. Ali's dress wasn't shown on the runway with a belt or waistband but thankfully she added a contrasting burgundy waistband to her dress which matching her JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Melissa McCarthy never shy's away from print and I thought this black floral printed peplum top with the matching leggings from her MELISSA MCCARTHY SEVEN7 FALL 2017 collection looked great on her. Center part waves and black sandals finished up her look.

Victoria Justice wore a YOUSEF AL-JASMI gold beaded mini dress styled simply with metallic strappy sandals. Center part straight tresses and a colored lip finished up her look.

On hand for support, Chrissy Teigen joined hubby John Legend this evening at the 58th GRAMMY Awards at the Staples Center in LA.

John Legend looked sharp in a GUCCI RESORT 2016 suit which featured the black & gold Monaco bee jacquard jacket and black trousers. A black button down shirt, a black satin bow tie and shiny black shoes finished up his look.

Keke Palmer in Yousef Al-Jasmi at the 2016 People's Choice Awards

Keke Palmer was on hand as a presenter this evening at the 2016 People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

She hit the red carpet wearing a YOUSEF AL-JASMI SPRING 2016 black ensemble which featured a long sleeve beaded sheer illusion crop top and a high waist side split long skirt. We may have seen very similar looks like this a lot on the carpet in 2015 but celebs don't seem to be done with it.

The model is serving up a edgy but sultry look, however it is not translating like that on Keke but it isn't a totally bad look. But something about the top(maybe the sleeves) is not working for me and I can't get on board with that braided piece laying on her shoulders. Also I wish she went with a strappy sandal over those black pumps. Are you over the style of Keke's sheer illusion look or is she selling it to you?
