'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Jordana Brewster who attended the People's Choice awards this week, wore a DAVID KOMA RESRT 2017 sleeveless black & nude cut-out mini dress. Instead of wearing black sandals, Jordana opted for the shimmery silver STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandal. If this looks familiar, it's because she wore a similar version of this dress in November 2016. An EDIE PARKER clutch and straight off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look.

Hermione Corfield wore a GALVAN FALL 2016 jumpsuit which featured a ribbed velvet & stretch tulle top and matte trousers. If this looks familiar, that's because Gwyneth Paltrow wore it in black last year. The idea of this jumpsuit is but I am not sold on the quality and I dislike her grey pumps. 

Julianna Hough turned to one of her go to designers, ZUHAIR MURAD. Her long sleeve sheer navy velvet split detail wrap dress featured a black leather belt and a v-neckline. For coverage, she wore a black bodice suit underneath. This is nothing exciting because we have seen it before in different variations but strappy sandals would have been ideal over her CASADEI pumps.

Lily Collins, Yara Shahidi & Mandy Moore at the 2017 Artios Awards

Yesterday evening(January 19th) Lily Collins, Yara Shahidi and Mandy Moore attended the 2017 Artios Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Lily Collins wore a ALBERTA FERRETTI black strapless cut-out beaded embroidered midi dress which she styled simply with black JIMMY CHOO pumps. Because of the length, I actually don't mind her shoe choice on this occasion. Minimal make-up and off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look. 

Yara Shahidi who also attended the People's Choice awards, wore a ANTONIO MARRAS PRE-FALL 2016 long sleeve white & black lace embroidered dress with black pipping. Yara's dress was shown un-lined in the look book but the young starlet lined her dress for her appearance. Even though the dress is a little too long on her, she still looks beautiful. Minimal make-up and her natural curls topped off her look. 

Mandy Moore who also attended the Winter TCA Tour this week, wore a ALEX PERRY PRE-FALL 2017 black one long sleeve velvet dress with an asymmetrical slashed bodice and a padded shoulder. At first glance, I thought this was Antonio Berardi. I like the dress on her but not her shoe choice which are SOPHIA WEBSTER.

Ali Larter wore a ZAC POSEN SPRING 2017 strapless printed lattice cut-out dress. Ali's dress wasn't shown on the runway with a belt or waistband but thankfully she added a contrasting burgundy waistband to her dress which matching her JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Melissa McCarthy never shy's away from print and I thought this black floral printed peplum top with the matching leggings from her MELISSA MCCARTHY SEVEN7 FALL 2017 collection looked great on her. Center part waves and black sandals finished up her look.

Victoria Justice wore a YOUSEF AL-JASMI gold beaded mini dress styled simply with metallic strappy sandals. Center part straight tresses and a colored lip finished up her look.

Skipping the red carpet, Sarah Jessica Parker posed backstage following her win at the 43rd People's Choice Awards this evening(January 18th) at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA. 

Taking a fashion risk as always, she wore a J .MENDEL FALL 2016 COUTURE strapless bronze metallic pleated asymmetrical dress with a cut-out bodice and a contrasting nude pleated tulle underlining.  

SJP is wearing a modified version of the dress which was shown as a gown on the runway and she also added detachable sleeves. For me, I don't think the color works in her favor and her look is a bit too match-y match-y with the sandals as well. Does the color & SJP's version of the dress work for you?

Peyton List hit the red carpet this evening(January 18th) at the 43rd People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a YANINA SPRING 2016 COUTURE sheer illusion pink cocktail mini dress with lavender beaded feather appliqués. 

Without the feathered appliques, this dress would have washed Peyton out. It's definitely a cute look for the young starlet. A high bun, shiny pink lips, a box clutch and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals finished up her look. What do you think of Peyton's look?

Vanessa Hudgens worked her left leg in a pewter metallic KAYAT RESORT 2016 crossover dress which she styled with an RODO clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. It can be hard wearing material like this without it looking like aluminum foil or a trash bag. However I think Vanessa nailed her look, it sultry with a edgy touch. 

Kate Hudson looked great in a strapless STELLA MCCARTNEY tuxedo jumpsuit which she styled with an JIMMY CHOO clutch and BRIAN ATWOOD heels. Her look was topped off with JORGE ADELER & SETHI COUTURE jewelry and a complimentary up-do. 

Meagan Good wore a mint ALICE + OLIVIA deep-v gathered handkerchief with a matching waistband for a cinched waist. On the beauty end, she rocked side swept Senegalese twists and a red lip.  I like how free and organic she looks here. BAVNA earrings and a EDIE PARKER clutch topped off her look.

Keke Palmer in Yousef Al-Jasmi at the 2016 People's Choice Awards

Keke Palmer was on hand as a presenter this evening at the 2016 People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

She hit the red carpet wearing a YOUSEF AL-JASMI SPRING 2016 black ensemble which featured a long sleeve beaded sheer illusion crop top and a high waist side split long skirt. We may have seen very similar looks like this a lot on the carpet in 2015 but celebs don't seem to be done with it.

The model is serving up a edgy but sultry look, however it is not translating like that on Keke but it isn't a totally bad look. But something about the top(maybe the sleeves) is not working for me and I can't get on board with that braided piece laying on her shoulders. Also I wish she went with a strappy sandal over those black pumps. Are you over the style of Keke's sheer illusion look or is she selling it to you?

The 'Quantico' star wore a VERA WANG SPRING 2016 silver & gold paillettes halter dress which she styled with silver metallic JIMMY CHOO pumps.  

I would have loved to see her with an simple ankle strap sandal over her pumps but it doesn't hurt her look. It's the hairstyle that's off for me. A low, sleek up-do would have complimented her look but nonetheless, she made the look work. Her flawless make-up topped off her look.

Natalie Dormer striked a pose this evening when she hit the red carpet at the 2016 People's Choice Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

She wore a ROLAND MOURET FALL 2015 black sheer panel long sleeve turtleneck jumpsuit with velvet panels. Natalie's jumpsuit featured a black leather belt on the runway which I am definitely missing here.
