Julia Michaels in Paolo Sebastian Couture at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards

Julia Michaels is presenting this evening(May 1st) at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Utilizing the split on her gown, she wore a PAOLO SABASTIAN FALL 2018 COUTURE black strapless wool-crepe gown. The gown is simply cute and sexy but I feel like it's missing something.

Her tattooed arms adds some edge but I think a statement jewelry piece was needed. She finished up with a center part up-do, a SWAROVSKI ring and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. What do you think of Julia's look?

Ciara in Stephane Rolland Couture at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards

Ahead of her performance, Ciara posed on the red carpet this evening(May 1st) for the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. 

STEPHANE ROLLAND is known for his dramatic, statement gowns and Cici chose a perfect piece. Her FALL 2018 COUTURE black long sleeve crêpe cloth dress, featured an sheer organza plunging neckline, an embroidered crystal high neck, and a sculpted shoulder detail. 

Cici is serving up sexy with added drama but neckline is where this look falls flat. It just looks unflattering. To compliment the high neckline, she wore her hair in a high ponytail. Working the high split on her gown, she finished up with diamond studs, black mule sandals, smokey eyes and a glossy red lip. Did Cici sell you on her sexy look?

On hand as a presenter, Sabrina Carpenter made her way to the red carpet for the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this evening(May 1st) in Las Vegas, NV.

For her appearance, she went the jumpsuit route, wearing a RASARIO FALL 2018 black draped satin jumpsuit, featuring a contrasting silver sequin top. I kinda feel like this piece is more suited for someone with height and the model proves that. 

Also the platform sandals feel just a tad too heavy with this. However I do like her beauty look. Do you think Sabrina pulled this jumpsuit off?

2018 Billboard Music Awards Men

There were some good looking men at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards yesterday evening(May 20th) at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and check out a few of the mens look. 

Ne-Yo stood out among the men wearing a CALVIN KLEIN red two-piece suit with yellow side stripe trousers. His jacket which teamed with a simple white shirt underneath, was adorned with a gold statement brooch. He also accessorized with a tan hat, red metallic glasses and black shoes which topped off his look.

Darren Criss wore a DIOR HOMME PRE-FALL 2018 black two-piece suit which was teamed with a black button down shirt & shoes. The cobalt blue airbrush lapels is what keeps his look interesting.

2018 Billboard Music Awards Wrap-up

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards took place this evening(May 20th) at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Taylor Swift who walked away a winner, worked the split on her pink & silver embellished ATELIER VERSACE dress which featured a v-neckline and a short sleeve on one-side. The back featured a sultry cutout back & draped panel. You can check it out via her stylist instagram. She finished up with HUEB earrings, CASADEI sandals and a complimentary beauty look.

Kelly Clarkson who hosted the show, wore a CHRISTIAN SIRAINO black long sleeve custom gown with crystal embellished, cutout shoulders, an asymmetrical neckline, a split, a belted waist and train detail. I really like the detailed top, she looked great. 

Padman Lakshmi wore a THE BLONDS SPRING 2017 one-shoulder embellished metallic dress with a bustier top and a sultry waist high split. Center part straight tresses and metallic sandals finished up her look.

Ashlee Simpson was a presenter this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

She posed on the red carpet wearing a YANINA SPRING 2017 COUTURE black see-through floral, floor length dress with a high neckline and long bell sleeves. 

Over-sized bell or trumpet sleeves can be hard to pull off and it's not working on Ashlee for me. Also  the creases are a bit unfortunate and the hair should have been off-the-shoulders. What do you think of Ashlee's look?

Ciara is preparing to release new music but she presented this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

Working the sheer trend, she wore a JULIEN MACDONALD SPRING 2018 sheer nude asymmetrical embellished halter dress with a cutout waist and a nude bra & underwear underneath for coverage.   

While Ciara does have the body for this dress & it works for the venue, this look has been overdone. A flawless beauty look and LE SILLA sandals finished up her look.

Before you presented, Halsey posed on the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards this evening(May 20th) at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

Showing some leg, she wore a REDEMPTION FALL 2017 COUTURE black strapless ruched dress with a voluminous ruffle, skirted waist that flowed into a dramatic train. Halsey's dress is also featured in the FALL 2018 collection in a sparkly colorway which I prefer.

However the dress works for the occasion but I can't get on board with that eye make-up.  LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and ROGER VIVIER embellished buckle sandals finished up her look. Are you feeling Halsey's look?

Hailey Baldwin made her way to the red carpet before she presented this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

Whether long or short, Hailey is known for working sexy dresses on the carpet so this ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER FALL 2018 long sleeve gold encrusted gown with a plunging neckline & a twist detail waist is right up her alley. 

My only quibble here is the color on her. I feel like a colored lip or colored stone jewelry would have balanced out her look. Or she could have just worn the black version. Gold jewelry and a center part light wavy bob finished up her look. Which color do you prefer, the gold or black?

Before she takes the stage, Jennifer Lopez worked her signature pose on the red carpet this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  

The temperature is really hot in Vegas but that didn't stop JLo from wearing this ROBERTO CAVALLI FALL 2018 burgundy velvet button down shirt with the matching bra underneath and a croc embossed, crossover skirt. 

Matching her accessories with her ensemble, she wore a burgundy & gold trim clutch and burgundy leather CASADEI thigh-high boots. While I find this look to be a bit to heavy, I really like it. However I think this would have been the perfect occasion for her really sexy & tight mini dresses. YEPREM & AS29 jewelry, a center part medium cut and smokey eyes finished up her look. Demi Lovato is set to perform this evening(May 20th) at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas which is why she was on the red carpet.  

Stepping into the archives, she wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2009 cheetah printed floor length dress with a v-neckline, voluminous sleeves and a split detail. While the dress wasn't belted on the runway, Demi belted the dress on her which provided a cinched waist. 

I can't say that I am liking this dress on Demi. I think it's mainly the sleeves because it doesn't work on her. I kinda wish it was a halter version. Also colored stone jewelry would have added a nice balance. A L'DEZEN gold ring and off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look. Are you sold on Demi's belted look?

Working a playful look, she wore a GIVENCHY FALL 2018 two-tone halter dress which featured a black crepe top which was adorned with a bow and a white floor gazing fringe skirt. 

I thought Camila looked great in this dress and she definitely had fun with the fringes on the carpet. A ponytail with bangs and silver jewelry finished up her look.

Alison's dress was featured on the runway in a different version which featured a sheer printed maroon & pink skirt. I actually prefer the runway version, if lined but her version worked as well. An up-do with bangs, a DJULA ring and black sandals finished up her look.

Before her presenting duties, Bebe Rexha posed on the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the Grand Garden Arena this evening(May 20th) in Las Vegas.  

Serving up some drama, she wore a CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FALL 2018 black long sleeve velvet gown with a high neckline, over-sized ruffle pleated tulle sleeve panels, a side front split and a pleated train in the back.  

Love this dress but it is really hot for velvet in Vegas for this piece right now. This would have been perfect for the Grammy's in February. Nonetheless she looked great. A top knot, BRIAN ATWOOD heels and LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry finished up her look. What do you think of Bebe's look?
