2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy Gala Honoring Jay-Z Wrap-up

Jennifer Hudson, Chrissy Teigen and La La were also on hand for the 2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy gala Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z last night(January 27th) in New York City. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE. 

Jennifer Hudson sparkled in a long sleeve bronze & black RUBIN SINGER floor length dress with a v-neckline and a short center front split. Pulled back tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look.  

Chrissy Teigen showed off her baby bump in a JONATHAN SIMKHAI strapless cream & silver metallic gown with sheer long sleeves and a short train detail. Accessorized with HUEB earrings and SARA WEINSTOCK & EF COLLECTION rings, she finished up with a braided hairstyle. 

La La sparkled as well wearing a black, silver & bronze sequin semi-sheer, slip halter gown. Beauty wise she kept it simple with minimal make-up and a center part ponytail. JENNIFER FISHER jewelry finished up her look.

Jay-Z and Beyonce at 2018 Pre-Grammy Parties

Jay-Z and Beyonce made their rounds yesterday(January 27th) to attend pre-Grammy parties because Jay is being honored at this year's ceremony in New York. 

2018 Roc Nation Brunch at One World Observatory:

Jay-Z kept it cool in a wore a grey three-piece RALPH LAUREN suit and a TOM FORD tie, white button shirt & dress shoes which was topped off with a hat from JJ HAT CENTER. 

Beyonce worked the split on her custom long sleeve metallic pleated, plunging v-neckline RALPH & RUSSO FALL SPRING 2018 gown with a belted waist. Bey's gown hit the runway in a sleeveless version which I actually prefer but she look's hot either way. LORRAINE SCHARTZ jewelry, GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and a ponytail finished up her look. 

2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy Gala Honoring Jay-Z:

Jay-Z looked great again wearing a two-piece MUSIKA FRERE black lapel tuxedo which was styled with a white button down shirt, a black bow tie and black dress shoes. 

Beyonce looked divine wearing a custom AZZI & OSTA black long sleeve gown with a structured, asymmetrical ruffle floor length skirt & a sheer net panel and a mock neckline. I like this glam, black panther vibe that she is serving up here. My favorite look. A ERIC JAVIS black leather beret with side parted waves underneath and LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry finished up her look.

Ahead of the Grammy's show, Rita Ora hit the red carpet at the 2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy gala Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z last night(January 27th) in New York City.

For the occasion, she turned to ZUHAIR MURAD wearing a FALL 2017 COUTURE white lace embroidered & fringe calf length dress with a mock neckline and long feather sleeves. 

On the runway, Rita's dress was shown with a contrasting black belt which works with or without it. I think my only quibble here is the feather hairpiece which is a bit to much when her dress is the focal point. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry, SERGIO ROSSI sandals and pink lip finished up her look.

Well this is Cardi B's first Grammy weekend appearance and the reality star turned rapper has already made a name for herself. Last night(January 27th) she attended the 2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy gala Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z in New York City.

She hit the red carpet in a ASHI STUDIO SPRING 2018 ivory strapless floor grazing dress with a fold detail neckline and a crossover, button detail bodice & split. 

Even though her short straight bob with bangs is most likely a wig, it looks really great on her.  My only quibble is the fit of the dress on the bust but other than that, she looks nice. SUTRA jewels, SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals and complimentary make-up finished up her look.

Cassie and Sean Combs aka Diddy posed together on the red carpet for the 2018 Clive Davis & The Recording Academy Pre-Grammy gala Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z last night(January 27th) in New York City.

Cassie wore a PAULE KA SPRING 2018 sleeveless white and black satin & tulle high-low dress which she accessorized with a sparkly clutch and black pumps. I think this dress looks so much better with the pants. However she doesn't look bad but a strappy or ankle strap sandal would have been ideal. The ATELIER SWAROVSKI 'Marina' clutch and a complimentary up-do finished up her look. 

Sean Combs aka Diddy worked a black two-piece GIORGIO ARMANI tuxedo which was styled with a black bow tie, a white button down shirt, a SAINT LAURENT fur collar coat and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN shoes.
