On Sunday(February 23rd) several celebs wore GIORGIO ARMANI to the 31st Screen Actors Guild awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in LA.

Kerry Washington wore a custom SPRING 2025 COUTURE layered gown. The turtleneck is not flattering on her. 

Anna Sawai walked away a winner in a custom strapless, crystal embellished dress that was red in the front and black in the back. She looked stunning.

Colman Domingo, Gia Coppola and Drew Starkey wore VALENTINO on Sunday(February 23rd) to the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in LA.

Colman Domingo suited up in a custom tuxedo and he looked amazing as always. That's all.

23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards Men's

Along with Mahershala Ali, the men brought their talents to the red carpet on Sunday(January 29th) for the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. To see all of the red carpet looks from the event, click HERE and continue below for the men's wrap-up. 

Ashton Kutcher started the show with a great speech wearing a classic DOLCE & GABBANA black two-piece tuxedo which was styled simply with a white button down shirt, a black bow tie and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN shoes. 

Rami Malek was definitely one of the top best dressed men wearing a DIOR HOMME SPRING 2017  black & white printed suit with contrasting red stitching. Rami said on the carpet that when he first saw this suit on the runway at the show in which he attended, he knew that he was going to wear it.

Common also went the classic route wearing a PRADA two-piece tuxedo styled simply with a white button down shirt, a black bow tie, black dress shoes and FRED LEIGHTON jewelry.

Last night(January 29th) the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. To see all of the looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Jurnee Smollett-Bell who also attended the Variety brunch, wore a red strapless ALBERTA FERRETTI SPRING 2017 LIMITED EIDTION COUTURE gown which is hot off the runway. She looks pretty but some sparkly, statement jewelry could have elevated this look.

Busy Philipps wore a JEFFERY DODD PRE-FALL 2017 elbow sleeve wave sequin floor length dress which she accessorized with JACOB & CO jewelry and a JUDITH LEIBER clutch. Love the color combo and the vampy lip complimented it.

Brie Larson kept it simple in a white JASON WU halter dress with a side front split detail. I actually like this dress but the styling is a snooze. Her black sandals were a safe choice. I think statement sandals and a bolder colored lip could have enhanced her look. REPOSSI jewelry finished up her look.

Mahershala Ali gave the most inspiring speech when he accepted one of his two awards this evening(January 29th) at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 

The 'Moonlight' star stood out wearing a ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA COUTURE which featured a white two-piece tuxedo, styled simply with a white button down shirt, a navy satin bow tie & a printed pocket square. The actor topped off his look with velvet loafers which are ZEGNA as well.

I loved that he didn't go the traditional classic black route, after all, tonight was his night and her looked handsome & clean for his big moment. Also I like the ankle length pants because it complimented the loafers. What do you think of Mahershala's look?

Following her attendance at the Variety brunch, Thandie Newton stepped out this evening(January 29th) for the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA.

She hit the red carpet in a SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2016 strapless light gold printed beaded tea length dress with a cut-out ruffled neck detail. I think without the print on the dress, this would have been an okay look. 

Thandie looked elegantly beautiful and this is just another winning look for the 'Westworld' actress. Light gold shimmery eyes offset with a pink lip, a side parted bun, NIWAKA jewelry and GIANVITO ROSSI sandals finished up her look.

I don't ever recall seeing Taraji P. Henson in a gown until. The nominee attended the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA this evening(January 29th). 

If you want to have a gown moment, REEM ACRA is one of those designers that you can turn to. She wore one the the designer's SPRING 2017 layered organza beaded gowns with contrasting velvet black bows. 

Taraji removed the bracelet length sleeves from her gown and given the warm temperatures in LA, the sleeveless version worked. However my only complaint is that I find it to be unflattering on the bust. Taraji went braless but I wish she added something for support. Do you think Taraji pulled this gown off?

On this occasion, I wish she kept the choker that the dress was shown with in the look book. I like the dress but her look still doesn't excite. Side parted medium waves, a pink lip and black clutch topped off her look.

Nominee Sofia Vergara attended the 3rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards this evening(January 29the) at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 

Sofia tends to stick to one look but she switched things up wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2017 strapless calf length dress. Her two-tone dress featured a silver beaded bodice with nude underlining and a black beaded tulle layered flare skirt. Sofia said on the carpet that this style of dress is out of her comfort zone and I agree.

She ditched the short skirt underlining from the look book for a longer style for coverage. Also she left out the mirrored belt which I wish she kept. Overall, even though this is different for her, it's not for her. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry, straight off-the-shoulder tresses, red lips and CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA black sandals finished up her look. Are you missing the belt as well?

Nicole Kidman & Salma Hayek in Gucci at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards

Nicole Kidman & Salma Hayek were standouts this evening(January 29th) in their GUCCI gowns at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 

Nicole Kidman wore a vibrant emerald sequin floor length gown with a v-neckline, feather beaded shoulders and ruffled tulle said panels. Nicole made an elegant glam statement and this suits her style perfectly. My only quibble is that I don't like the tulle lining on the neckline. 

Salma Hayek definitely stood out in this vibrant yellow one-shoulder gown with a pink floral ruffled bodice and velvet sash. This is definitely a much improved look from the Gucci dress she wore at the Bazaar 150 party. A complimentary beauty look & accessories finished up her look.

Naomie Harris has been mixing things up lately when it comes to her style and for the most part, it paid off. The nominee attended the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards this evening(January 29th) at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 

For the occasion, she wore a LANVIN SPRING 2017 white, red & black silk stripe jumpsuit with a satin floral chain draped top and a black & gold belt. This is a somewhat difficult collection and the few times that we saw it on the carpet, it was a miss. 

However despite those creases, I thought Naomie looked great in this jumpsuit. She finished up with black accessories, straight off-the-shoulder tresses and minimal make-up. What do you think of Naomie's look?

There was no question about who Natalie was wearing because of course she went with CHRISTIAN DIOR. She wore white three-quarter puffy sleeve gown hot off the SPRING 2017 COUTURE runway.  

The sleeves is what kept her look interesting. Opting not to add a colored lip, Natalie went with an espresso smokey eye. Accessorized with a white satin clutch and TIFFANY & CO jewelry, she finished up her look with an complimentary up-do.

Michelle Williams & Sophie Turner wore custom LOUIS VUITTON dresses this evening at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA.

Michelle Williams dress took on mixed metals which featured pewter, silver & gold sequin stripes. Her floor length dress also featured a v-neckline, a matching skinny scarf and padded shoulders. I have to say that I really like this sequin number and it looks flattering on her. Smokey eyes and her signature pixie finished up her look. 

Sophie Turner who also attended the Variety brunch wearing LV, stood out in this vibrant red center front split dress which featured different strap widths. I honestly couldn't believe this was LV but she looks great in this dress. Simple but sexy. Wavy tresses and a matching lip finished up her look.

Gretchen Mol hit the red carpet at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium this evening(January 29th) in LA. 

For the occasion, she wore a J. MENDEL SPRING 2017 black floor length dress with a beaded cut-out top and a pleated silk-chiffon skirt. In the look book, Gretchen's pleated skirt was shown unlined but she lined her skirt for the awards show. 

I think the lined skirt worked for Gretchen as none of the details got lost. Also at first glance, I wished she left the gold statement necklace out but staring at her look now, she definitely needed it. A side parted short curly hair style, pink lips and a black clutch topped off her look.
