Every season during fashion week I like attending shows of designers who are not well known and Christian Cota's spring 2011 collection is the reason why I will continue to do so. Cota drew inspiration from the Yucatan jungle in which he created pieces that were long, lean, cropped and with structual shapes. He played around with blue, peach and white hues. What I loved is how he mixed prints that were perfectly blended together. The tuxedo look was very chic and the sheer sleeves on the blazers had an immediate appeal to them. The pieces had volume in it that made everything flow together.
