Wenlan did a presentation of her Twinkle spring / summer 2011collection in a intimate setting at her Manhattan showroom during NY fashion week. The colors featured muted tones, vintage prints and patterns that were very modern. Wenlan to told me that she chose to do a intimate setting so "the focus can be more on the clothes". She also said that she wanted the collection to reflect a fairy tale and like the models were going to a destination. Pretty dreamy right?, because what fashionista doesn't like to travel looking stylish even if they are not going anywhere? Pants are slim, shorts micro, blouses very boxy and dress were cleanly cut.
