LUCA LUCA Spring / Summer 2012 collection took you on a exotic adventure focusing on accenting the curves of a woman. While I was watching the show, I remember saying, I want this, I want this. The designer took a new direction with the collection also reflecting on exposed shoulders, high splits and draping. Sheer fabrics, embellished sleeves and sequins added a sensual glamour feel for Spring. He also played around with color and florals. My favorite piece was the black mock neck long sleeve dress with exposed shoulders. Rihanna would kill in this dress on the red carpet. Also the sheer black pants that was paired with a colorful cinched waist wrap top would be perfect for a fashionista who's not a afraid of her own skin. There were some pieces that I felt took away from what I believe the direction of the collection was heading, easy sex appeal but over all, it was refined with edge.
