On Wednesday, CONVERSE announced a new footwear collabortation with the most successful virtual band group, GORILLAZ. The new "Chuck Taylor All Star" sneaker will feature the band's graphic image and will debut in February 2012. Gorillaz co-creator Jaime Hewlett designed exclusive prints which merges together their diverse background and influences to create a one of a kind collection. The collaboration will also be with music that will be tied into the launch of the footwear. The collection will feature four styles but this is a sneak peek of what's to come. The camouflage print see here was taken from the band's self titled debut album and is the lead design for the collection. The sneakers will retail for $60 and will be available nationwide at select retail stores and online at www.converse.com.
