First Look: Loeffler Randall Resort 2012 Collection

LOEFFLER RANDALL RESORT  2012 shoe collection launched today with a line of sporty inspired elements that are transitional and chic. Nude tones, black, navy and metallics make up the color palette. Striped embossed snake, metallic suede's and raffia are softened within the collection however overall, the line has a masculine edge but still girly. Espadrille heels are going to be a huge trend for spring 2012 and the "Nadia" esperdrille heel and paltform booties are the perfect shoe to wear to pull off this trend. It can be worn with everything from shorts, to minis and boyfriend style pants. Since Jessica Randall launched her collection in 2005, fashionista's everywhere flock to the designer for must-have stylish shoes every season. Jessica's use of combinations along with detailing is the consistency about the line that I love.

Continue to see Jessica Randall, the founder and creative director wearing her resort 2012 picks and her inspiration for the collection.

On her favorite picks in which she is wearing in the images above:
“Our Nadia bootie with espadrille wrapped heel and platform is the perfect combination of both masculine and feminine. It's a go anywhere, wear every day kind of shoe that is sexy and understated at the same time.”(left image)
“I love the wood platform shoe. It is exactly the kind of shoe I'd want to wear during this transitional season. It looks amazing with little socks in colder weather or without in the sun.“(right image)

On her inspiration:
"The inspiration for Resort 12 was a kind of deconstruction of nautical elements -we were interested in the ropey feeling of espadrilles and the graphicness of stripes that translated into clean straps across the foot.”
