Lyn Devon Fall/winter 2012

LYN DEVON held an intimate presentation for her Fall/Winter 2012 collection at the Hudson and the desinger took 50's sophiscation to the next level. It's all about the New York girl in love with the city. Lyn has a talent for painting her prints for her line and this season, she painted  love birds which was done in lilac. She also created a rose print which I think was repeated but it still was beautiful. The collection had a vintage feel to it along with a classic approach to angora in which I definitely fell in love with. Greys, pink, rust, navy, lilac, camel, charteuse and fuchsia set the color tone. Every last piece in the collection is a must-have to me especially the skirts with detailing like high splits, flare and knots which were also on the dresses. Coats, long and short were paired with ankle length pants, skits and dresses. All of the looks were tailored and refined with a very clean finish. My favorite pieces in the collection, which is the last look, a white angora sweater and a tea length skirt. As I looked through the entire collection at the presentation, I wanted to order everything. Overall, Lyn presented a very ladylike collection with a touch of edge along with elegance for the fashionista in love will classic style.
