Yesterday I attended the MONIKA CHIANG F/W 2012 presentation and I was very impressed with the designers collection. Coats were finished with fur sleeves, pants seemingly loose with wide legs and the leather made a huge impact throughout the collection. My favorite piece was the leather turtle neck with burgundy trousers. The combinations of the pieces were done uniquely and very refined. As much as the clothing looked amazing, the accessoires also took center stage. Clutchs were adorned with fur, satchels had intricate hardware detailing and the shoes were stylish and classic. Sneakers had spikes and the evening clutches had silver beaded fringe. For make-up, it was kept light with nude glossy lips and hair was left simple. Overall the collection was feminine mixed with a little masculinity along with being edgy.
