Show Review: Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2013

Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs are known for their cut-out designs and for Fall 2013, they took CUSHNIE ET OCHS in a new direction without straying to far away from their signature style.

They started out strong with all white looks that featured a structured skirt, wide legs trousers, a flare skirt and a crisp white shearling that I love. The main surprise was in the middle of the collection that featured a cool digital print.

I loved the long sleeve button down shirt and flare skirt which was done in the digital print. Prints is something that we don't see from the brand so that was a refreshing approach.

Some of the pieces were suttle and didn't show a lot of skin but Carley & Michelle did send their signature cut-out styles down the runway. One of my top favorites was the black double split dress with cut-outs in the shoulder.

Some maybe tired of the cut-out bodycon dresses but I still like them. However only the ones that are tasteful which they do very well. With the addition of prints in the collection, it just shows how the design duo is evolving.

Beauty wise, the models strutted down in sleek pulled back hair do's and dark red lips which is on trend. What do you thing of the collection?
