Show Review: Naeem Khan Fall 2013

NAEEM KHAN makes the most gorgeous gowns and it's a shame that we don't see it on the red carpet more than we should. FLOTUS is a fan of the designer and has worn his pieces on numerous occasions. I always look forward to his show every season.

With the Oscars around the corner, there were plenty of gowns that are worthy. For Fall 2013, Khan did what he does best and sent beautiful red carpet winners down the runway with his signature embroidery and intricate beading.

Lots of heavy embroidery, beading, sequins and crystals brought back that 'Old Hollywood Glamour' that we know and love. Dark & saturated was the color palette in the collection with black, teal and a deep red which allowed the ornate detail to shine.

My favorite look was the beaded cropped top with the high waisted tapered pants and the cape attached to the waist which got a 'awww' as it came down the runway. Another favorite was the embroidered capes that were paired with gowns.

Overall, this collection was fit a fashionista that wants to standout at a glam event. Beauty wise the models had slick light wavy buns with light make-up. Nothing else was needed because these pieces stands out on it's on. What do you think of the collection?
