Show Review: Tadashi Shoji Fall 2013

TADASHI SHOJI is known for his stunning red carpet gowns and for Fall 2013, he did not disappoint his strong celebrity followers. The designer apparently pulled inspiration from a trip to Russia which was executed very well throughout the collection.

Tadashi played around with different textures, like velvets,  chiffon and neoprene which was merged together with lace. Dresses and tops had volume & movement, some with long sleeves and a few with short.

One of my favorite pieces was the red long sleeve chiffon belted dress with the black lace yoke. The designer also sent trousers down the runway, paired with cute caplets. One caplet was done in pink but my favorite was the frilly lace caplet that would also look good with a skirt.

However the showstopper was the finale gown. A white hot neoprene gown with a blue lace overlay finished off with a cape. I am hoping to see this on the red carpet. Diane Kruger will be my choice. What do you think of the collection?
