Following her previous Pre-Globes appearances, Cate Blanchett hit the carpet this evening at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Stepping out in a statement look, Cate wore a soft pink GIVENCHY SPRING 2016 fringe & lace embroidered dress with an neck back. This could have easily come off costumy like it did on the runway but Cate elegantly pulled it off.
I love this look, something that I miss seeing from Cate, her fashion adventurous side. Beauty wise, she went with a side swept braided up-do and a matching pink. A ROGER VIVIER clutch and a statement bracelet completed her look. Does Cate's look work for you?

ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, of course, and has an incredible red carpet presence, however I'm not crazy about this - it's just a soft and pale look that is way overworked with all that fringe. I'm still missing her stronger edge here. Yes, she carries it off nicely but I can't help but feel underwhelmed.
