Charlize Theron in Alexander McQueen at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards

Taking a break from promoting 'The Huntsman', Charlize Theron hit the red carpet at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards yesterday evening at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA.

Ditching Dior for the evening, the actress wore a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FALL 2016 black long sleeve lace butterfly beaded dress with a plunging v-neckline, an cut-out back and a flare pleated skirt. Her sheer lace dress revealed her black bra & briefs underneath which continues to be a favorite look for celebs on the carpet.

I can't say that I am sold on the dress due to the second row of embellishments on the waist and the bra strap showing on the v-neckline & in the back. However in general, she wears the look well. A black clutch, JIMMY CHOO black ankle strap sandals, small drop earrings and a pink lip completed her look. Does Charlize revealing look win you over?

  1. The Title of this post is spelled incorrectly FYI.

Looking at other pics, I kinda like this. But then I don't. This is best look she wore so far on this boring The Huntsman press tour. That's saying a lot.

  2. I saw it & I corrected it, thanks Christine.

Also I agree, her promo tour looks haven't been exciting.

    1. No problem :) Yes, I agree. I had high expectations for the tour, but sadly it was a fail. Until the premieres, but not holding my breath.

  3. Hate the tight hair, like the idea of the lace, hate the skirt's sheerness, the embellishments are placed in unflattering places and look like an afterthought...It's not bad,but I don't like it either

  5. The problem is not the dress.... it's her. The dress looks soooo good on the model.

    1. The dress doesn't look like the right choice for Charlize to begin with, I agree, those twee-ish skirts need to go.

  6. Not too excited about the dress itself and it doesn't really work for her - it doesn't quite suit her or flatter her shape, and the skirt needed to be lined.
