Last night Jessica Chastain hit the red carpet at the Jazz at Lincoln Center 2016 Gala 'Jazz and Broadway' which honored Diana & Joe Dimenna and Ahmad Jamal at Frederick P. Rose Hall in NYC.
The actress sparkled in a DEREK LAM FALL 2016 two-tone dress which featured a see through sleeveless beaded top and a silver sequin beaded skirt. If this looks familiar, that's because Naomi Watts wore a modified version of it in March 2016.
While I think this dress looks great on Jessica, what's putting me off from loving it is the fact that she is wearing a white or nude bra under the top. Maybe she was going for that flesh tone look but it doesn't work for me. I think a black would have been ideal. Center part light waves, smokey eyes and SOPHIA WEBSTER black sandals topped off her look. Does Jessica's look work for you?

I agree. That white band is distracting and making her look thicker than she really is in the mid section. I prefer the neckline from the catwalk anyway. The skirt is really interesting.
ReplyDeleteShe can do better than that.
